Awesome. Working out details for the tailgate. Everything should be good to go by Saturday.

BTW, Balls = cheapest drinks in Gville.

They've also closed all the Whataburgers

My personal fave (don't ask me why).

And there are a slew of cops at every gate checking bags, purses, seat cushions, etc.

I liked to get a double meat, double cheese burger with everything and a large fry for breakfast.

NO KIDDING!

know of any good steak houses?

Went to this place about a month ago and got a ribeye. It was like 15 bucks and pretty good. They had 22 oz beer specials while I was there as well; making for a good meal.

We were by the engineering building (Alvin Black Hall I think) in '06 and '08 and had no problems with cops, Gators, etc. Parked right by our tailgate and Black is open for restrooms. Decent hike to stadium but very nice spot to tailgate in.

Great job.
I would also recommend the hawaiian pork quesadillias at The Swamp.

Don't know if you have Sonny's BBQ in Louisiana, but it's been sliding here in SOFLA for years. I rarely go down here. But when I get to gainesville, it's one of the first places I go. It originated there, and the one on Archer is the best Sonny's out there. I think it was the second store.

Also, Newberry BBQ (in Newberry, like 15 miles west of Gainesville) is good. They used to serve it in the stadium.

As far as in-stadium fare, you MUST, MUST, MUST get the lemonade. Not the one they sell in the stands, though. Go to the lemonade stand and ask for one with extra sugar. I think it's 5 bucks, but it's the best lemonade on earth. And I don't even like lemonade that much.

If you want to hang out at a sports bar and watch the game or other games and maybe shoot some pool Art of Billiards is very nice...its south of campus on Hwy 441 about 3mi on left.
