When you have no real offensive strategy whatsoever players like Mickey will struggle against physical teams. But of course according to some, Jones' lack of actual game planning and coaching is what recruits love.

Mickey really gets pushed out of games by physical play. He could use another 30 lbs and a lot more strength and toughness.
When he's got space he's great, with a body pushed against him, he loses his mind.
ETA:
39 lbs of muscle on his frame is nothing. He could do it and probably needs to. He gets pushed around.

yea the offense needs to run through martin and no one like patterson should be jacking up any shot until martin has at least touched it once. Mickey needs to hang out on the baseline and crash the boards.
Sadly I don't think we will see that. We will likely keep forcing it to mickey and letting him make bad decisions like taking bad contested shots or turning it over.

Yes LSU has out sucked OM to this point. OMs scorers haven't done anything yet either. LSU has to win this game in my mind. What the heck is Mickey doing!

Exactly. Let Mickey crash from weak side after Martin gets a look.
Would be great to get Hornsby hot. Might release some inside zone pressure off if big guys.

Agreed. Definitely wouldn't run another post up for him.
Martin/somebody 2 man game with mickey using his sense of spacing to either drive to the bucket weak side or set up for a little mid range jumper.

AK did it to shut down the crowd and it was well timed. So that really doesn't help the home team. Obviously, the crowd is calm. Unless he was going to strategize (not likely), then comparing AK and JJs timeouts isn't really relavent

Mickey, Quarterman and Gray are combined 1-12. We get ANY offense at all in second half from a few guys not named Martin and we can win this. We simply can't suck any worse.....I hope.

Patterson and Hornsby need to hit a couple 3s early and free up the post for Martin and Mickey need to realize that he will be either playing in Europe or back here next year if he doesn't get his head out of the sand

Mickey might get going if he gets a big time put back slam. Yea, if hornsby or patterson were to get hot that would help stretch them out and open up the inside for us.
