Sophomore slump. It was bound to happen.Hang in there, he will come around.

I think Katz hit 10 HRs last season in the course of like 8 games. And then he couldn't hit Cleveland after that and started to struggle for a few weeks.

THAT'S BASEBALL

I think most people are already worn out by the lack of hitting that it's not even worth going over ad nauseam on here.

Katz had a home run drought after that ridiculous start, but he was still hitting north of .360.

I'm starting to form the opinion that Bregman may not be the once in a generation player that we once thought he was. Sure, he's a good player, but I'm not sure he is someone that you would form the rest of your team around. maybe he isn't one of the best players LSU will ever see, but I would hope you would at-least think this guy is a good hitter. I personally think Bregman is pressing and it is affecting his defense and his hitting, Until he strings a few hits together he will continue to press. I suspect that once he gets out of his slump he will raise to be one of the better hitters in the SEC again.

0 for 11 from 1, 2, and 3 in the lineup.

The "whole team" also wasn't in a slump like some are saying is the case right now. Because it can't be the fact that some just struggle hitting average pitching (as opposed to shitty pitching).

Was that really a debate? Nola was always the more important figure on this team, even before Bregman's slump.

Tulane outplayed us in every phase of the game tonight. Hitting is atrocious. Nice to see McCune bounce back though. Glenn's career might be over.

Hmmm... maybe I should've said that.

I was confident he was going to be our ace after Gausman when he decided not to sign professionally.
