all of you idiots that are panicking to relax.

losing to an inferior team happens all the time.

None of the regulars here are panicking because we lost to an inferior team. The "panic", or concern as I'd like to call it, is coming from a season long inability to score runs except against SWAC teams and opponents that are getting their first week of outdoor baseball while playing in the Box.

Finally we have somebody here with actual experience to keep us informed. We've been waiting a long time for this moment.

You lolly gag your way into the field
You lolly gag your way to the dugout

You know what that makes you?

This is a simple game.
You throw the ball
You hit the ball
You catch the ball!

CPM give one of these speeches and we start knocking the cover off the ball.
Am I right?

Baseball is a strange game. Sometimes everything works right and a team plays a long stretch better than it really should. Sometimes a good team play poorly for a long stretch but that is not always a "slump". I see a lot of mental errors in the last few games. Bad base running, poor at bats, strange coaching decisions by coaches. It would be easier to accept this as slump if the coaches could get rid of some of the mental errors, especially on the bases. But man it is hard to win games if the pitchers have to hold the other guys to less than two runs.
