Staying downtown. Don't want to drive to/from game. Will be drinking. Anyone know of any bars that will offer a shuttle to and from the game for a charge in the downtown area.

Probably none from Downtown Dallas, that is about 25 miles from the stadium.

How much would a cab cost me from downtown to one of the bars in Arlington offering the shuttle?

At least $40. I take cabs from Uptown to my house sometimes and thats what they run me; somewhere in that ballpark. And downtown to Arlington would be further than that.

Better than a dwi. This is the route I'll have to take Friday night to go to the block party in Dallas.

Would a cab take me directly to the stadium? Then I wouldn't have to cab to a place for the shuttle, shuttle back to the bar, then cab back downtown/

A cab will get you close enough but you will pay a butt load & the traffic will suck. Plus, no real tailgating at stadium per Jerry rules.

So you would suggest cabbing to Humperdinks or gilligan's THEN shuttle to stadium?

Call the hotel, they have been down this path before.

No that's going to be a ZOO, if youre already in the cab, just have them take you right up to the stadium. There'll be traffic but it won't be that bad. Also the tailgaiting outside the stadium for the Cotton Bowl was just fine, as long as you have a good spot, they don't enforce too many restrictions. Maybe with grilling I don't know, but people were blaring music and passing a good time yeah cher

Think I'm leaning toward that.

Most hotel shuttles will take you within 5 miles. So shuttle to dart, dart close to the bar with a shuttle to the game.

Prob what i plan on doing.

I can help you with this. Taxi with no traffic will run you ~$50 from Downtown Dallas to the stadium plus tip. No hotels are offering shuttles. Super Shuttle can shuttle up to 10 people at $85 total each way tip included. It's your best bet as it's a guaranteed ride and guaranteed price.

Thanks Afro. Do I just call "super shuttle" in Dallas and line this up?
