he apparently has no concept of getting outside of the tackles.

that's all he does brah. He literally takes the ball on the sprint and looks at one receiver. never checks off

God I can't believe you guys are dragging me ijto the damn JJ/JL argument. I had managed to stay clear of it . Anyway.

the continued inability to get past his first read isn't a reason?

If you aren't seeing him checking off progressions, you are blind. He checked 2 before dumping off to TT, who made a move back and lost ground or he could have possible just stretched for the 1st.

He is moving around them. The pass to Shep at the end was his third read on that play. Might want to go back re-watch and pay attention to his eyes and focus.

1 qt 3rd and 2 12:05

Four receivers open for a quick pass to get the first down, rolls out has protection never intended to pass the ball runs it instead.

2nd and 11 11:05 never looks at the other receivers only the RB Shepard.

3rd and 4 10:26 eyes only on #80 Toliver who is 1 yard under the first down mark and well protected doesn't get the first.

On the LSU 35 yard line,3:55 1 qt eyes only on #10 never even seen #2 Randle wide open for a TD. This is one of the plays I was speaking of. Randle burnt and left that Defender about 6 yards. Seen 2 or 3 other plays like this at the game where a receiver is wide open and he doesn't see them.

2nd Qt 15:00 3rd and 11,, Screen failed because he couldn't throw above the defenders' heads.

I could go on and on about this guy...I'm going to bed.

why is that? JJ definitely stepped up his game from last week and I'm happy for him. He's taken a lot of criticism over the last week, deservedly so, and he showed up with a better effort. However...we're not out of the woods yet. Tonight's gameplan of babying the QB won't work against our upcoming opponents. Plus considering his audience...last week's performance by JJ won't simply go away. He took a step in the right direction tonight but the fact that we can't open up the offense with our JUNIOR QB...is always going to be a liability and will eventually catch up to us. Probably sooner rather than later.

Hats off to the entire team. Great job. It's a blast watching our tailbacks run hard and our defense flying to the ball.

Not sure if that's a bad reflection on the coaches or Lee, though, since I don't go to the practices.

But, still doesn't excuse JJ from being a junior, and still have to be handled like a true freshman, right

I just don't get it - either he is dumber than a rock or has thinner skin that Paris Hilton.

neither is good for a championship qb.

playing bama is going to be fugly.
