It’s hard to get a handle on this loss. Mainly because we looked very good in the first half despite points left on the board. So the question is, was it just a complete brain fart at the half where literally every player forgot how to do their jobs or are we really that bad?

I really don’t know the answer.

No.

We got outcoached to frick and back.

It's basically the exact same team as last year. But FSU got better and we didn't

I doubt we’re as bad as we looked last night. Simultaneously, we’re not as good as we thought we would be.

I think FSU is very good but I also think we need to improve.

I dont think the lines will remain as is going forward.

more Swinson more of the freshmen in the pass rush

I think Heard gets into the OL sooner rather than later.

I do think Florida State is really good and underrated.

That might be the best WR room in the country.

It would not shock me at all if they steam rolled the ACC.

The Tigers are exactly what they were last year except now every opponent knows how to scheme Perkins out of the game. I know that nobody wants to hear it but Perkins in NOT a ILB.

Our QB can’t hit a Buick with a beach ball and our heralded defensive star looks like he has sickle cell anemia.

Yes, we are that bad

We aren’t brimming with talent like we used to have. We’re more a 8-4, 9-3 SEC ceiling type team than 11-1,12-0.

We’re a long way from really competing. We don’t seem to have the same clear hold of NIL that some programs do. Denbrock is a dinosaur scheme wise. I really liked House last year with some of his pressure packages but I thought he got out schemed bad last night. We were stubborn as hell leaving chestnut out there to get roasted against a guy 6-7 inches taller than him.

We are worse if you can imagine it. You don't recover from something like this without serious change being made and Big Brains Kelly will not make it.

We were in the redzone 5 times in the first half. The score could've been 35-14 at half time, which more than likely would've shell shocked the piss out of FSU.

Poor play calling and execution in critical situations.

Probably this, but it's still very early. And the first game of the season, only two SEC teams played against other teams with pulses and got hammered.

I wonder why we can’t convert in the red zone. It’s a total mystery. It’s like the defensive doesn’t have to worry about a QB being able to throw the football…

Not AS bad, but not national champsionship level which is what most of the offseason hype was all about.

9-3 type of season is the ceiling, imo.

No, LSU isn’t that bad, but they’re not elite either. The coaching last night was pathetic, obviously the last few years of DB recruiting was a miss and the transfers aren’t good enough.

Unfortunately, the future is not very bright… LSU can’t compete NIL wise with the big boys.

The Tigers were humiliated by an undisciplined team riddled with penalties, dropped a lot of balls, and we were thrown around like toddlers, among other things. My guess is it is probably that bad.

No poor coaching( running shotgun from the 2 and 4th and a foot) and dropped passes cost us 21-28 points.

Kirby Smart & Jimbo provided the template for this last year. Kelly hasn’t yet figured out how to counter that.
