Are we completely sold on Brossette?

First of all, the guy obviously needs to be a big part of this offense. I'm mostly playing devil's advocate here because he has had two great games, but is he going to continue having the big games? Is he a perennial LSU stud running back? He's busted a couple of long runs in each game and apparently leads all power 5 conferences with 14 forced missed tackles. I'm trying to convince myself that this guy is capable of being the workhorse that we expect out of a backfield that has produced so much talent the last 20 years. Am I the only one that feels like I have to convince myself of this? I sure hope so!

I don't see how anyone could be sold on any of our skill players after two games (Maybe Jefferson at best. But that's about it).

Your question implies we have a choice. The outlook wasn't good with no production returning and he's been a nice surprise. I'm happy just to see how it goes.

Brossette has earned his role as #1 back no question, how great he can be is anyone's guess 2 games in. If he has 100+ yards on Auburn, you could almost start up a heisman campaign

He will continue to do a fine job. He isn't going to squander his chance.

The only thing the rant is sold on is that O is gumbo full of binders with E who is 100 and cooks BBQ and can't coach while sullivan shakes from dementia and our OL uses pacifiers.

The jury reports back with a verdict tomorrow.

Not sold on that but he's been much better than I expected and nobody else has come close to showing they're ready.

I was a gigantic douche about brosette until this season started. He proved me wrong.
That being said, I still want to see more from CEH. Not sure Brosette can feature against a stout SEC schedule.
This.
All of this.

I hinj He’ll prove to be a solid but not great Back.
He has shown good patients and vision. He is sturdy and runs strong.
He isn’t going down in LSU folk lore but he’s goood.

It’s not as if we have a choice. We’ve been blessed with top end RBs over the years but don’t seem to have that right now. That said, Brossette has stood out from the pack and earned his place as our #1. Hopefully he continues to improve

He obviously isnt Fournette or Guice, but he is very good in his own right.
Miami's defense is pretty good so he definitely deserves credit for that game.

He may not be an athletic freak like Guice or Fournette, but in those first two games he did pretty much everything right and looks like a 3 down back. Great patience and has good vision, plus he can block and catch. He could have a pretty damn good year. I think our O line will get better with some chemistry and we have the players that can open up holes for him.

Because he lost a fumble against Troy, a lot of people decided to write him off. Others felt he obviously wasn't good enough to get more reps otherwise he would have gotten more than 46 carries in 3 years, never mind that he played behind Derrius Guice and Darrel Williams all 3 of those years and also Leonard Fournette the first two.
But if you look at his YPC over the first 2 games (40 carries - 6.4 YPC) looks awfully similar to his average over the 46 carries he had in his first 3 years (46 carries - 6.7 YPC). I told a few people not to overlook Brossette, I'm really happy for the guy, my biggest concern has always been will he be durable as the featured back.

Have to be. Everyone questioned his ability and whether he would show up and be the man, well he did. So you have to be sold on Brossette.

CEH should be getting some passes out the backfield.

He's a baller and a great kid. Glad people are sleeping on him.
