He didn't have a great game, but he will be fine. They seemed to double team him a lot while they let Mingo have free reign.

Sonic Sam is a great player but he was and is still sometimes hyped as some speed rusher off the edge like Mingo. He is not and never was a speed rusher. He just needs to hold his technique and not lose contain this week and he will be fine.

He is also 20-30 pounds heavier than Mngo, and is still an elite pass rusher. Mingo is going to be a great pass rushing OLB in the NFL. Same is gonna be a great DE in the NFL.
Sam isn't always the last off the line, and he does a lot after he gets off the line that people like too.
They don't make this stuff up he is elite.

He can take anyone 1 on 1, when he gets doubled he has a harder time but still seals the edge.
