Guys y'all are right Sam sucks, our defense sucks, our offense sucks, special teams sucks, hell the whole team sucks. We'll never win another game the whole season. Geez all the negativity after one game.

Wow. He was one of the most dominant DE in ALL OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL last year. Do you expect sacks one every other play? You do realize there are huge young men across from him that are trying to stop him?

This. Bama didn't have a sack against North Texas , last year. They know their line can't hold their blocks on our line for more than 2-3 seconds, so they basically had a three step drop and the ball was out. The NT qb also moved around a good bit. I was impressed with his pocket awareness

This is dumb an borderline retarded. Scouts don't give you a 1st round grade because someone else flushes qb your way. Every single mock draft has him as either #1 or #2 de off the board.

William Gholston from Michigan State is the best and most complete DE in college football. He is a head case and has character concerns, but from a pure talent stand point he dwarfs Sam. If he interviews well I expect him to be the 1 st DE taken. Mingo will be the 1st player from LSU taken in the draft. Sam is a great player, but Mingo and Reid are better pro prospects imo.

Here's Clowney's stats from their game vs Vandy. He had:
2 unassisted tackles
4 total tackles
2 TFL for 13 yds
1 sack for 9 yds
USCe- Vandy Stats
Pretty good game and I'm guessing he played more downs than did Sam.
No idea why Sam didn't start. Lavar is no slouch. But Sam is almost a consensus 1st rd projected pick. Great and complete player.
