Yep Jimbo definitely fails that test. Crab legs anyone? Sexual assault? Yelling obscenities in the student union?

Fact is that he accomplished nothing but failure in his only stint as a permanent coach. Do I think it's impossible for him to learn and change and that there's no way he could be successful as a permanent head coach at a major program? No, that's ridiculous. But I'd prefer if LSU wasn't the guinea pig.

That's fine but you have to realize that alot of people think that he has earned the chance to prove himself.

Ok? A lot of people think we should keep him because of his accent... doesn't mean he's earned shot to take the keys.

Yes, you would rather get jimbo, who has by far the most talent in the acc and is severely underachieving with it.....lmao

When does loyalty and stability take place in today's game. He said in the beginning (which was a mistake), that this was an audition. Well damn, If coach O runs the table what else he has to do. We fired Les, so if the intermin coach goes 7-1and we fire him we look like a fool again. For the second straight season.

The handling of Winston was the came to mind. I believe that was pretty significant in showing Jimbo will turn a blind eye to win.

I want Herman. But yes I'd rather Jimbo over O. And Jimbo really doesn't excite me much.

What part of this statement made you come to this conclusion?

The part he wanted to see... Even most Coach O detractors can see that statement is inclusive of him as a possibility.

This. Guy has 5-stars all over and still can't get it done in the damn ACC.

Yeah it does mean just that unless something goes bad wrong with the last 2 games.

So, 2 games could completely change your mind about him being our permanent head coach? Jesus. I'm so glad our fans don't have any actual say

That's what the whole statement reads in it's entirety. If you only read "accomplished leader" and nothing else, you may set yourself up for disappointment. I think it's Herman or O and possibly not Jimbo. Only a two more Mondays to find out, reportedly.

It's funny how different people are interpreting this. Some see this statement as pointing to an Orgeron hire while others see it as eliminating him from contention.

Truth is, none of us know.

So we would have fired him anyway had he won those games?
