Losing tonight makes LSU loose and ready, while FL winning makes them tight?

I hope Poche pitches that way, and our hitters hit that way, but human nature and Vegas casinos don't agree.

"Nobody can know that"

So you can throw that shite out, but nobody else can??

I will take an extra days rest over Poche potentially pitching better because of feelings.

So, again, it is your belief that giving Poche an extra day doesn't give him a better advantage? I just don't see that rational. And, by your reasoning, tonight wouldn't have been all or nothing so why would he have pitched like it was all or nothing?

I haven't seen the Vegas odds but the only thing that they showed was the history of it. Odds were long for LSU to beat the best ranked team in the country but LSU did that last week, also. Still doesn't change that LSU is making the best play to win the series.

Poche's own teammates and coaches say he lives for situations like tomorrow. Absolutely thrives on them.

Given the fact that what was essentially our bullpen held UF to 4 runs...I'm confident.

I know that

All I'm looking for is your honest feelings now after witnessing their lineup vs arguably the 2 least used pitchers on our staff

Do you think NOW that Poche on the same days rest that Lange will get would have given up 3 runs?

Vegas doesn't play the games on the field.

You're kind of in the same boat regardless of throwing Poche tomorrow night or tonight. Johnny wholestaff was going to have to throw one of these games, would rather give Poche one more day to be closer to 100%

Its really this simple...

Possibly. Even with the benefit of hindsight, I wouldn't go back and start Poche. I'd prefer Poche tomorrow against their patchwork staff + an extra day of rest.

Let's hope they're wrong the next two nights, b/c FL now is favored

They build those things on being wrong all the time, BTW

Poche giving up 3 was deffinately possible. I would say more likely than us scoring 4 in Singer.

Easy to second guess after the game is over. Our pitching was fricked because 1) we went through the losers bracket; 2) Walker got hurt.

We hedged our bets. Score 5 runs tonight and we win with a busted bullpen. We didn't. But now we are set up to win with our best pitchers and their busted staff. No excuses.

Exactly, don't remember the hit count but pretty sure we had way more.

This dude is an a-hole
If poche went out today and got roughed up we have to burn up arms today and STILL start Johnny Wholestaff in an elimination game tomorrow. Wahoo would be bitching about starting poche tonight and putting all of our eggs in that basket

PM made the right move, tmrw poche and the bats have to play up to their potential or we are out

Wahoocs...you just don't get it.

Lange getting 4 or 5 days is irrelevant. He couldn't pitch until Wed.

Sure he could have run Poche out there and gotten maybe 6 innings but you act like UF had zero chance to still score 3-4 runs off Poche. That basically what he gives up per game.

It was about giving Poche the best match up possible and an extra day was gravy. Singer vs any Tiger minus Lange is a bad matchup. Poche vs UF #4 is a good match up.

I expect Poche to give up a few runs tomorrow, but I also expect Tigers to put up more runs then they did tonight.

That will equal a win and a Game 3.
