I never talk shite. I'm too nice. If I talk shite, I immediately feel guilty. I have thick skin too. I expect to have a nice time.

Check out The Chimes for variety of beers and good food. Particularly the fried seafood.
Also, the bama fans I have known for 25 years survive and thrive in BR by admitting two things:
the refs side with bama more than any other school
and, bamaland has more delusional bandwagoner fans than the rest of the conference combined.
Simple rules - no problem.

I enjoy Spanish Moon when I go there, a pretty chill spot.
Between campus and downtown. One of the places I wish I'd go to more often. Not the best of areas, but a pretty great crowd actually.

I was in BR for game a couple years back and some friends and I partied post-game at a bar called the Station. I believe it was off College Dr. It was rocking pretty good that night. Don't know if it's still there but some of the locals could tell you I'm sure,
