Yes, he had a heart attack in 2018-2019 ish while at the surgery center either in between surgeries or while going to a surgery. Great guy.

Oh my god wtf.
ETA:
I grew up with him, known him and the family as long as I can remember. Was closer to Zuke by age and stuff.

Such a stand up guy, naturally physically and mentally gifted yet so humble. Damn.

Damn, great guy. My age. He could give you a shot in the knee and you’d never feel it. I was shocked. He seemed to be in great shape.

How does a dude like that go yet we have tubs of lard oozing around into their 70s? Damn shame

Very sad news. Also sadly, no matter how hard we may try, can’t outrun genetics.

I’ve seen a few people who were in amazing shape but had really bad family history of heart disease die young even after doing everything right.

Bottom line, if you are at risk, get regular checkups (even though that isn’t perfect either)

NO!!! He did both of my knee scopes in 2014. Loved loved him as a doctor. I’m so sad to hear this for his family. He’s what I still consider going.

Truly sorry to hear this.

Calcium Coronary Artery Scan ...the best $100 you will ever spend...insurance usually doesn't cover it for whatever reason. It's a CT scan that measures the amount of calcium deposits in your heart arteries. This scan saves lots of lifes every year. It can show trouble before you start having symptoms of heart disease. I've been thru the ringer heart wise 7 angiograms with 6 stents (they are all collapsed currently) 2 heart surgeries (last angiogram showed that my bypass grafts we not working ..my peripheral arteries are real good according to my cardiologist. My dad died in 1964 at 44 of a heart attack....Genetics suck!

Had apparent family history of heart disease. Took the life of his father & one of his brothers.

Sad. RIP

I’m not exactly sure. I heard a brother & his father had passed from heart issues from a person who worked with Adam.

This is so sad. It seems like just yesterday he was on his medical school rotations. Everyone who met him loved him. Just a great guy.

This I am 59 and not doing this killed two of my childhood friends and two are alive because they did this.

I am surprised that two of his former LSU team mates that post here have not posted on this thread.
