But you didn't read my first post...notice any pattern in the names I listed....mostly from North Louisiana...and many didn't play for LSU for a reason....the demographics and population make-up has changed because of the social issues in Louisiana...the good DNA left the state for a good reason...but don't dare speak of the truth...PC rules the world of cowards and fools!

What is this "truth" you speak of? Please don't be a coward or fool, tell us what you mean by the "good DNA". And do you happen to have the "good DNA"? And what are the "social issues" in Louisiana you speak of? The fact that Louisiana rates low in wealth, education? Well that has been a fact forever, even before the so called "good DNA" allegedly left the state.

Louisiana's population has remained relatively stable for the last 20 years. When did the "good DNA" leave? And where did they go? The only mass exodus from Louisiana I am aware of was caused by Karina.

Does anyone think that it's just a coincidence that the last four NFL QBs to come out of Louisiana are named Manning and Booty? It's in the DNA...of course they had to put in a lot of work and effort and be coached properly...but without nature, nurture is to no avail! Period!

But LA is still putting out plenty of baseball pitchers that can throw 90+ so the baseball angle is much more realistic than to assume only 2 families in the whole state have the right DNA to make a good QB.

Would you like to get an education...travel up the Mississippi River to a good starting point...say, Tallulah...and start driving westward, to Lake Providence, etc...hit as many towns as you can....then from Monroe, continue towards Shreveport...many of these towns are now ghost towns...East Carroll Parish was written up in Readers Digest as the poorest area in the entire country! Many people have left the state because of the terrible public school system...and most LSU fans know the problems that many athletes have
getting theeir grades in order...it's a problem.

and before that..

Brister, Humphries, Stewart and Delhomme

two of those did not run passing offenses in hs...either..

NFL QBs are rare...

So you're telling me LA just got poor and schools just got bad?

Interesting theory..... Wrong but interesting.

And how many schools in Louisiana have you taught in...how many different parishes...on how many levels...and how many teams have you coached...how many different sports...I have taught in schools from Lafourche all the way up to Arkansas...I know much of the history of the problems in the state from New Orleans north...I was involved in state politics from 45 years ago...but I can see the student is not ready, so the teacher is wasting his time...I'm out!

LSU has a Louisiana high school QB starting for them right now. Here's his bio:

Played primarily as a quarterback during his prep career at Green Oaks … Passed for 593 yards and rushed for 306 yards while accounting for 11 touchdowns during a stellar senior season in 2012 … Honored as a first-team Class 3A all-state selection by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association following the 2012 campaign … Emerged as an elite prospect during his junior season in 2011 while passing for 1,710 yards and 20 touchdowns and rushing for 804 yards and eight touchdowns from the quarterback position … Added 45 tackles and four interceptions on the defensive side of the ball as a junior … Also a standout basketball player during his prep career while earning second-team Class 3A all-state honors from the LSWA as one of the state's top guards in the spring of 2012

His name is, of course, starting CB Tre'Davious White.

0.....but shite I have eyes and I can read. I've been around a while myself.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the facts that LA has never been rich or had a great education system.

I have taught in schools from Lafourche all the way up to Arkansas

Awesome.

I know much of the history of the problems in the state from New Orleans north

So do a lot of people

This explains a lot....you buddies with Edwin. You mad because your gravy train finally ended?

Damn dumbasses like this is why shite won't get fixed in this state......anybody can see that the problems in these areas didn't just start in the last decade they have been around for damn near a century.

Josh Booty & Craig Nall came to LSU the same year as Davey so those 2 have to be included

Josh Booty & Craig Nall came to LSU the same year as Davey so those 2 have to be included. Also, LSU became a legitimate national recruiter under Saban and has been able to go after the best since then, not just limited to Louisiana QB prospects

I didn't say Davey was from LA, just saying that Nall & Josh Booty are and were contemporaries of Davey. He used Davey, among others, to define the time frame.

What's amazing to me is that Drew Brees is the only QB from the state of Texas to have ever won a Super Bowl.
