Because your title is misleading. At least put a (?) in the title so we don't expect a comprehensive list of what you're seeking.

Here is what I think is a complete list:

Year Player Position
2007 JaMarcus Russell QB
2009 Ricky Jean-Francois DT
2010 Chad Jones DB
2011 Patrick Peterson CB
2011 Stevan Ridley RB
2012 Morris Claiborne DB
2012 Michael Brockers DT
2012 Rueben Randle WR
2013 Brad Wing P
2013 Michael Ford RB
2013 Chris Faulk T
2013 Barkevious Mingo DE
2013 Eric Reid DB
2013 Kevin Minter LB
2013 Bennie Logan DT
2013 Tyrann Mathieu DB
2013 Sam Montgomery DE
2013 Tharold Simon DB
2013 Spencer Ware RB

Don't get rustled if this isn't 100%, but I feel like it's close.

2007 JaMarcus Russell QB right decision 1st overall pick
2009 Ricky Jean-Francois DT academics played a role and he's still in the league
2010 Chad Jones DB right decision and would have gone baseball at the end of that spring anyway
2011 Patrick Peterson CB right decision no brainer
2011 Stevan Ridley RB questionable decision but it worked out for him still in league and with depth at RB he would have lost carries
2012 Morris Claiborne DB right decision 1st round
2012 Michael Brockers DT right decision 1st round
2012 Rueben Randle WR questionable decision but if he had the work ethic would be a star in the league
2013 Brad Wing P had no choice punters rarely get drafted
2013 Michael Ford RB saw no carries made a team was his goal and he did that
2013 Chris Faulk T bad decision
2013 Barkevious Mingo DE right decision
2013 Eric Reid DB right decision
2013 Kevin Minter LB probably should have stayed
2013 Bennie Logan DT right decision
2013 Tyrann Mathieu DB had no choice and made a good decision to sit out instead of going fcs route
2013 Sam Montgomery DE not motivated to play college or NFL it appears
2013 Tharold Simon DB other situations made him leave but he found a decent landing spot because Seahawks love tall corners
2013 Spencer Ware RB again carries in a loaded backfield made him leave he was not better than Jeremy Hill

So according to your post, 100% of the players on your list were not getting paid to play football, and then left early and started to get paid for playing football. Yeah, what were they thinking.

I just wanted to see how they fared both in the draft and as a pro compared to seniors who left.

It is a lot easier finding info on seniors than early departures.

Why doesn't anyone care or seem to not think it's wrong if they leave college to go find a job, make money and party. Funny no one thinks its wrong unless you are an athlete.

Yeah...Alfred Blue is not leaving early even if he did receive a FIFTH year of eligibility due to a medical redshirt.

This is a direct reflection of the change in NFL rookie wage scale.
