Good post, except it reads more like a steady stream of thought lacking conciseness and organization. But your a great guy.

How can people not love Les Miles, the guy has always been all class, and he LOVES LSU.

Because his QBs don't average 300 ypg

Miles has always been a good coach and his record and recruiting speaks for itself. It's weird to me that people can take this long to realize it. When he finally chooses to leave LSU, he will be sorely missed.

No, he hasn't beaten Bama much. Again, drives me crazy but, how many other teams beat Bama? Nope, there aren't many.

The next game will determine his legacy to me. He's done a great job outside of the Mississippi State game. I'm just waiting for him to relapse like a meth addict. It's coming I just don't know when

OP sounds like a typical fan hedging his bet just in case Miles wins the NC. Just making sure he has a seat on the bandwagon while the team is undefeated. If LSU beats Alashit, we will get many more versions of crap like this.

Welcome to the light. There is a comfy adult size bean bag over there near the corner. There is a big down comforter next to it, and the thermostat is set at 68 degrees.

The popcorn popper is warming up, and there is a 70 inch HD flat right in front of you.

It's perfectly OK for you to enjoy watching LSU stomp the shite out of all their opponents, without having anxiety about whether or not they have a prolific enough passing game, or manage the clock proficiently enough in the last minute of the game.

It was a lot of backhanded compliments and confessions of not having confidence in Les Miles despite the fact that he wins games.

This. OP has no conviction, and is an embarrassment to negatigers.

This sentence is completely hosed up...stomp the shite out of all their opponents? LSU doesn't stomp the shite out of all their opponents. LSU wins most games, but there is very little stomping going on as it is not in Les' DNA.

To listen to some of you guys, you'd think Miles walks on water. I'm sure Jarret Lee's parents might disagree with your interpretation of Les Miles' character.

He's a freaking football coach. He gets paid millions of dollars to win games. He runs a clean program and he recruits well, but he's average at best when it comes to game day coaching.

Let's put Miles' sainthood on hold until he proves that he can end Bama's streak and have LSU in position to win a NC in January.

skimmed through some of that wall of text and it appeared, like others have said, just a lot of back handed compliments. He may not recruit like the little midget but he sure is a hell of lot better coach and a hell of a lot better person.

Still riding that train huh? Lee would be a cripple in a wheel chair right now if Miles would have played him that night with the way Bamas defense was getting after it. Miles did him a favor.

He's the best coach in the conference not named Nick Saban

While I appreciate what Saban did during his time at LSU, and I appreciate him as a great coach for his time at Alabama, I wouldn't trade Les Miles for two Nick Saban's.

I haven't ever weighed in on the Saban vs. Miles threads and likely won't again after this post.

I don't hate Saban for going to Bama. That just seems silly to me. I believe he would have loved to come back to LSU when he washed out at Miami, but he couldn't. That window had closed. We had Coach Miles.

I, for one, am so glad we did.

Each fan base watches their team play very closely and with a critical eye, especially Tiger fans. They demand excellence, nothing wrong with that. The problem is, they are not watching every other team in the country so closely, and why would they? But they don't see the bonehead moves by other coaches, even coaches of very good teams.

That being said, CLM is a great coach, great recruiter, and a great man. That is all.

I believe that our players do stomp the shite out of our opponents even though it isn't in Les' DNA. LSU with our head coach Les Miles recruits "savages" as Leonard refers to them and beats teams up. Our lines have been dominant this year and opposing teams have been relieved at the end of games. If you can't see that then you aren't enjoying this season like I am. Geaux Tigers and the fine football team we've put together this year.
