This is correct

We got our asses kicked by a sub-par Arkansas team last year, too.

What coaches have had what CLM has had while at LSU?

Before Dinardo we lost a lot of our best talent to Miami, FSU, Michigan,ND, Nebraska...we have kept most of our in state talent since Dinardo. Saban came in and won the NC, had buildings built...making LSU appealing to recruits. We have had one coach who has been able to recruit with all those benefits...CLM...he has been mediocre at best considering the facilities, $ for staff, and talent we have had come through the program since he has been here. Maybe you like the great ooc regular season stat but I'd prefer we did more with all that nfl talent than what we have done.

While I understand the point you are trying to make, you can't selectively remove the best years if you are going to look at Miles' historical production as a coach. The 2011 team was a team recruited and coached by Miles and should be counted in his favor just as much as 2008 and 2014 should be counted against him.

Which is why I posted one that included the 2011 season and another post that didn't

Yes, also should be noted that Miles tried to use the vacant Arkansas job to sweeten his deal here, not that they would have seriously pursued him anyway, and they eventually fill the job with a man who has a winning record against Miles.

Do any of those coaches have the recruiting advantage CLM has?

Your joking rt? Nola isn't even at pre Katrina levels yet. The most talented rich area in the state was destroyed by a hurricane. LAs classes have been week until 2011, 6 years into his tenure. LSU won a bcs title with 51% of the players hailing from out of state. What recruiting advantage?

Only the stadium has been upgraded in 11 years. We are way behind the bamas and tamus.

Plus, curly hallman built the indoor practice facility. He even knew you had to throw money at the program.

2 weeks ago I was saying Les is our coach until he quits.

Amazing how much things change in two weeks.

We won the Cotton Bowl at the end of 2010. So, yes we did at least one major bowl since 2007. Just stating facts

Your response has nothing to do with my post.

I am fully aware of the events that took place w Long, Bass, LSU, Miles and his contract.

Run along, I'm not the Miles basher you're looking to find.

The study center for athletes and FB operation center were built under saban. Nothing has been done for les.

Recruiting advantage is being the only major D1 school in a talent rich state.
