Pretty good synopsis of the game from a TT fan ....
TT Scout Board
*** 384-29. That was how much LSU out gained Tech on the ground. Holy crap that stat is unbelievable. I can't say I'm shocked LSU rushed for 384, but 29 rushing yards. Really?
*** 10 & 6. LSU tackled Tech behind the LOS 10 times with six of those coming on sacks of Pat, who seemingly ran for his life all night long. LSU's defensive front dominated Tech's OL which essentially ended any chance of Tech winning given the mismatch with Tech's defense. Tech's offense needed to hum and it was awful most of the night because the OL was simply whipped. Pat uncorked some improvisational magic throwing for 370 and 4 TDs while scrambling behind the line dodging future NFL rushers, but even he couldn't pull this one off.
*** 10.3-4.9. LSU averaged 10. 3 yards per play which of course is a first down every freaking snap. Tech averaged 4.9. This is pretty self-explanatory.
*** 256-5. LSU All-American RB Leonard Fournette rushed for 212 yards, 4 TDs and caught one pass for 44 yards and another score to give him 256 total yards and 5 TDs from scrimmage. He was as good as the hype.
*** 13-24, 254 yards, TD, INT. That stat line may sound modest for most Big 12 QBs, but for LSU QB Brandon Harris, who was struggling mightily heading into the game, it was a great night. More than the stats he was accurate and moved the chains in key moments for LSU to help bust the game wide open.

I think it is spot on for the most part. I do think excluding yards lost from sacks would present a more appropriate rushing figure.

kinda misleading. sacks are accounted for total rushing. but it does indicate how our dline was wreckin shop all night

That Tech Poster just guaranteed that his Tiger Rant credentials will be forever invalid.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that Harris was accurate but he was better than he has been in the last half of the season. And he did complete some critical 3rd downs.

Harris was money in the second half.

TT had 1 long run too that caught us sleeping. That's the only reason they have 29 rushing. They'd probably be in the negatives if it wasn't for that run.

He forgot 1...
*** 20 & 5 & 1. Number of holding, ineligible downfield and ripping off helmet penalties not called on the Tech o-line

Well. Um. While BH certainly went through a stretch where you were like, "frick, he's gonna suck again"......he did end up being "accurate and moving the chains in key moments".

After reading that board it's obvious that Tech fans are on a whole other level than a&m fans.
I always liked Texas Tech anyway.
Screw the faggies.

Ya, I wasn't too upset about it since we cruised to an easy win, but for a while I thought Ritters crew must have been officiating.
It would have been real ugly if the officials actually knew what a hold was.

Refs called 2 holding calls on our O line but none,on tech. 62 literally played tackle all night. He tackled more guys than he blocked.
