Anyone thinking about driving from LA to the game? Looks like a good solid two days of driving each way. Was thinking leave very early Thursday, drive all the way to Chicago. Spend Friday fooling around Chicago, maybe God will be great and there will be a Cubs game in town. Late Friday drive up closer to GB, do the game on Saturday. Sunday drive back maybe to Memphis or so, spend night, rest of the way home on Monday.

Any ideas if the game will be a 11 am game or it actually might be a night game because of TV?

Espn radio in Baton Rouge said that the alumni association added a 6th charter flight today.

This isn't an "away" game. It's a neutral site game.

If the same process is in place for ticket allotment that was used in Jerry World, it will work as follows:

1. Green Bay suite/club season ticket holders get first dibs on buying seats. I'm sure sponsors and what not are included in this allocation as well. ~20k seats.
2. LSU/Wisc split the remainder. 25-30k seats each school.

It'll be a tough ticket, but it's also an expensive and long trip, so that will limit the demand some what. Wisconsin fans will probably command a lot of the secondary market since they aren't incurring real travel expenses.

Got rooms at Hyatt on Main as well.

The alumni guy was on Moscona's show a week or two ago talking about adding another charter and they had packages with and without tickets if you wanted the travel and hotel part only.

guess I skipped over the part where you said "best" seats..so my bad. But still, there will be tickets to buy from LSU just like there was for Houston...but they will be the "nose bleeds" and they won't last long at all ?

forgot about that, LSU did a 4th of July sale for the game in Houston. I bought 4 together for $35 a piece last year from LSU.

My best friend and I is renting a vehicle and leaving either Wednesday or Thursday. Stop in Memphis cause my best friend wants to try the bbq, then crash in St. Louis. Drive to Chicago thurs, tour, spend the night, and catch a cubs game fri afternoon, then drive to either Appleton or Milwaukee fri night, then drive in for the game sat. Drive back sunday and Monday.

I am flying into Milwaukee and renting a car. I have hotel reservations in Sheboygan. According to my atlas, it is 116 miles from Milwaukee to Green Bay and Sheboygan is approximately the halfway point. It is close to the Whistling Straits golf course where they played the PGA Championship last August.

Talking about seats at Lambeau Field reminds me: Except for a recent addition, most of the seats there are the original bleacher seats, kept for nostalgia purposes I guess. Just a heads up you might want to bring your own stadium seats.

I am platinum member at the hilton so they better allow me to book as I please

I'm about to book the flight also with my miles. I'm just worried about getting good tickets. What is the average number of days everyone is heading up to Green Bay for?
