How many players in any game today can match those stats by Jordan Mickey? If He or someone else makes 2 more free throws or one more shot all this negative crap toward Mickey doesn't even cross your mind. The kid played his heart out as did the whole team, tough things happened at the end. Lets be proud of making it back to the tourney, its a big step.

Sure would have liked to see what happened had he got a little rest from those 3 unused timeouts.

Missed 4 straight free throws and an uncontested layup that would have put us up by 3 in last minute. He's a good player but had a rough ending to Game.

He/they didn't. So it does. We're mad. Let it go.

He also was 4/13 from the field, 4/9 from FTs, and had the most TOs on the team again, as he did all season long. As a PF who rarely is more than 10ft from the basket and doesn't dribble it more than 3x when he does.

4/13 fg that's less than 33%
4/9 ft that's less than 50%

That's all that matters.

Based on the games I have seen he does st least as much damage as he does good things.

I agree he has some habits to break, but if he does not have those numbers there might not be a lead to lose.

Yeah, because paving an open road for Elbert fricking Robinson at the 5 would be a huge favor.

Clutch factor goes a long way. He doesn't have it. Remember 1 point against auburn and 5 fouls?

he had an off shooting night, but his energy was great. big reason we were up 16 at the half. rebounding and defending the rim. They didnt get many points in the paint. Mickey was awesome tonight outside of the FTs

I just don't understand why he puts the ball on the floor when he is so far away from the basket.

Regardless of the numbers, there is a big "L" on the game line and the season is over. He personally (though not exclusively) had numerous chances to put the game away and simply didn't. Whether you like it or not, all great players have always been judged on what they do in the clutch.

Good rebounder
Great shot blocker
Below average defender
Not good with the basketball AT ALL. Literally cannot dribble a round ball.
Clumsiest offensive player I've ever watched.
Bull in China cabinet.

just so you don't get the facts confused, dude shot 53% from the floor over the last 2 seasons. Good for 2nd and 3rd in the SEC respectively.

He really was playing well until the last 5 minutes. Then he got in his own dome and the rest is history.
