Why doesn't Anthony Williams have an offer?

I get it's February, but his highlights have a little Noel Devine in them. We need RBs. He's an APB. But he'd be a great complimentary piece.

What gives?

Maybe there is something more to high school highlights? He camped this weekend so if he didn't do enough to recieve an offer there is a reason for it.

Because the staff didn't feel like giving one yet. Why do people ask this shite lol? Must be a reason.

This is a thread asking if anyone knows the reason. I deduced that there must be a reason.

Because he's 5'7" 160 lbs. He needs to get bigger and stronger.

That's pretty much it I would think. Then again, Keys III is listed at 165 and he got an offer. Keys III is 5'11" though, so I'm sure he could add weight to his frame much easier.

Is also a WR, not RB. Being recruited for that motion WR role in the Canada offense. Williams to me is one of those wait and offer late guys if he looks like a take. We really need a bruiser LSU type back in this class after missing on Akers.

I would think Williams would be recruited in that position as well. He's not a RB in the SEC, but he could be a helluva slot/jet sweep guy.

LSU already has an Anthony Williams type in Edwards Helaire and he is a SEC ready 210 pounds.

He's already on the team in the form of David Ducre. All they need to do is turn him loose this year.

Sometimes, this is enough to seperate those who get offers from those who don't.

Dexter McCluster is about that size though and he is still in the league. Williams will have to do a lot to earn an offer from SEC schools at that size though.

There are some other similar athletes around the state like Tony St. Julien and Troy Hurst. I think the staff probably wants to make a good evaluation of all of them before extending offers at RB.

I really hope we get to see this guy play this year. Now that we have a real OC, it will be fun to see him utilize the DITR like Ducre.

You're right, he's 3X better than Williams tbh.

Way too small and we already took a way too small back last class.

LSU needs two RBs this cycle who can come in day one and play in the SEC. Williams does not fit that criteria.

CEH was short but he's not small. He weighs over 200. At his height, that's really stout. CEH could be an every down back.

Williams is more of a jet sweep type.
