If Les decides not too play him at all this upcoming season? Mine would be Donte Jackson for sure.

Toliver-hes necessary. If he didn't play it would tell me more that Toliver is overrated than the others just stepped up
Guice-different dimension and we need that at RB and in our offense

KT. His physical style of play will be awesome to watch

My Top 5 in order:
1. Toliver- No reason at all that he should not start immediately opposite White.
2. Key- We absolutely must have him on the field on 3rd downs this year to improve what was such a poor pass rush last year.
3. D. Jackson-Because he is so electric, and there is no reason he should not be returning punts and kicks next year. Should be in some offensive and Defensive packages as well.
4. Guice- It would be silly not to have him in the rb rotation with all that he brings. Speed, power and great catching the ball out of the back field.
5. T. Johnson- Despite the depth at receiver. With a team that struggled so much throwing the ball, a WR of this talent cannot afford to be on the sideline

I honestly think the days of redshirts are all but over. We have a lot of players that don't stay for four years, let alone five.

I wouldn't get your hopes up of that. Even PP7 didn't start right away.

Good question. I think Arden Key needs to make an impact early. Toliver will be battling Paris for that starting spot. Paris has it right now.
May need one of these offensive lineman to play early inside, too.

I'll go with Guice and KT.

I have an Ed Paris reason.

I personally will go with ducre. No reason with the versatility and speed he brings to the full back position that he shouldn't be starting. He can be a serious weapon

I don't have any expectations with freshmen. If a couple make a major contribution, great - they'll likely be a future star. But it also means that maybe a prior recruit at that position didn't pan out if a freshman is starting. I'd rather see spot play by freshmen with upper class guys being the major contributors. I fell i to the trap when I first started following recruiting here. I read how Quantavius Leslie was the missing link. Our passing game would be unstoppable once he signed. I remember when DeSean Smith was, again, the missing link - a tight end who could catch. Not falling for it again.I want to see the guys with valuable time in the program see the field - I want to see High character guys like Ed Paris see significant time this year. I rather see freshmen wait their turn. Except for LF7, of course. I wanted to see more of him last season. Especially in the second half of the bowl game.

KT2
I like everything about his game, and we clearly need a lock down CB opposite of White.
Second is jackson- I would love to see him come in and blitz from he Nickel package like TM7 used too, or return punts. He is athletic and explosive.

Guice. No doubt. I want to him him pretty often as a freshman.

If Cam can't figure out how too use Donte on offense or even T.Johnson I will consider his hiring a failure. I completely agree with everything you said BUT what schools would keep these Beast on the bench in waiting for a year? I just can't get how this coach can't develope a championship level qb. I hope Les hands Cam the keys this year an says its yours drive it. I think we have freshmen on this team that can provide huge amounts of big play ability in big games if given a chance, and that's a big IF!

I am not sure how great Paris will work out at CB. He was recruited as a safety. He does not have the cover skills and ball skills or the lock down ability of KTIII. I do however think Paris will add fabulous depth. Given that KTIII has a leg up by attending spring training, He wins the job in the end.

FWIW Ed Paris was locking down the starting WRs in the spring game last year.

Man, it's getting ridiculous with how early universities are recruiting these kids now a days. But hey, if this kid is already better than Paris, just imagine how good his dad is. That may say more about paris though
