As long as this doesn't affect us with Speeks and Valentine, I'm cool with going after him

I like him. His high school is 5a which is big boy football in Texas looks like explodes off the line I could see him being very disruptive with his penetration.

From what I understand, he put in some serious work between his Junior & Senior years & improved a lot on his conditioning and quickness/lost some baby fat. I really like the guy too. Guy has major program offers . Texas, USC, Oregon, Oklahoma, UCLA, Nebraska among others

He is very explosive and I think he has tremendous technique for a HS d-lineman. You can never have too many lineman and he looks like a good one

I'm sure those guys have a committable offer, if they want in - then take it. Otherwise... first come first serve...

It's going to be an Oregon/LSU battle. His sister is 10 minutes away from campus and the DL coach coached his Dad when he was at Arkansas.

Aiken, Oregon's DL coach has a tie in as well, and we have one DT on the roster. Oregon also has his last visit. He also says Oregon leads.

However, it seems like Oregon has a lot to overcome.

Yes his sister goes to Southern. Plays Volleyball I think.
However, sisters luring recruits to BR is a sour subject here.

He's got good quickness but not so much speed

bingo

He plays a high level of effort, uses his hands well with only HS coaching, has great initial first step.

Only knock is speed. As an interior lineman, he could develop nicely.

He is an old school NG type and could have the interior gaps on lockdown.

I would say under Moffitt, he could become something very valuable.

We have one true NT on roster, so this is what is attractive about Oregon since the base is a 3-4. That, and we have Arrion Springs in his ears.

Watch it be the reason we lose him.
