For those who haven't seen it, you gonna like.
Guy is an animal, absolutely explodes into the OL following the snap. Extremely quick for a dude his size, & plays with a high motor. I REALLY like this guy.

P.S. Pay close attention around the 3:13 - 3:25 mark for a "Zack Smith/Lafell/Loston" type moment. I promise you will laugh.

Can't coach a motor like that. Rare trait in a 300 lb man.

Uses his hands very well. Tackles with all his body weight. Plays with a bit of a mean streak.

Sign him up Coach!

I was impressed. Quick off the ball, strong against double teams, good lateral pursuit, and a mean streak.

For a kid that size he gets off quick and will only get faster and stronger. Def has that mean streak you want on a D

Looks like he enjoys contact and high motor. Something about him is Dorsey-esque

Kid has a motor and he's nasty! Really hope we could pull him in. How'd he do in the AAA game?

I like that he doesn't just take up blockers and let his LB's do the work. He's always in pursuit of the ball. Non stop motor for a big guy is rare.

This is the first thing that jumped out to me. Although quite a few of those plays were him finishing a tackle after first contact. He's definitely an intriguing prospect.

Kid is a beast, doesn't take a play off. Plays like he is trying to hurt people.

The bodyslam during the play 20 or so seconds in is wicked.

He's got good quickness but not so much speed. I'd be concerned with his ability to pursue at the next level. However that's my only concern.

He says he is a 4-3 guy too, so that's good for the cause.
Helps us over Oregon .

quote:

"Oh, I like the Ducks. I'm going to visit them on the 17th. They're a fast-paced offense and a fast-paced defense. They play a 3-4 and that's not my type of defense, but I feel like I could fit in anywhere." The Ducks are recruiting him as a nose tackle, which doesn't seem like the best fit given his ability to disrupt opposing offensive backfields with his penetrating ability -- he projects the best as a three-technique defensive tackle. However, if he adds 20-30 pounds, he could certainly be effective lining up over centers.

Well if we are relying on our 3 tech to be the last guy in pursuit we are in trouble. I'll take the 5-6 plays he blows up behind the LOS over that anyday!

His ability to shed the o-line hurt him on alot of plays causing him to over run the play. That wont happen in college tho with more talented o-lines. He seems a little dirty, i see personal fouls in his future

I like him. His high school is 5a which is big boy football in Texas looks like explodes off the line I could see him being very disruptive with his penetration.

He's nasty. Really like him.

His quickness off the ball is eye-popping and makes up for lack of speed. That will get you in a lot of backfields.

I'm on board.
