I don’t think it’s hate.
Just funny how these guys go out to far off schools. It doesn’t work out for whatever reason, And LSU is supposed to take them with open arms as the fall back plan?
People don’t like being the fall back plan or rebound.
What happened big boy? Got homesick? All the bullshite they spewed at you was just that bullshite?
Sometimes you want to tell them, “oh wait we weren’t good enough for you 12 months ago, but now you want us? Go Frick yourself. “

The issue was the Tackett supporters/family that thought it was appropriate to poke LSU for not somehow forcing the kid to choose LSU.
He's a true Fr that started over more experienced LBs at USC and from what I've read has had mixed results. He's struggled in coverage and taken bad angles tackling, but has shown flashes of ability. I haven't seen anything about him being in the portal, but if he is and Kelly wants him, fine. If not, that's fine too.

You just said all this based on one idiot starting a thread lying about Curtis being in transfer portal. Curtis started games and played well for a freshman lb. Y’all sound like crazy people.

No, we need more experience to go with the young guys we already have and who are on the way at LB. And DT is a bigger priority right now, numbers wise.

Tackett's HC in high school, Jess Curtis, was also slated for stardom after last year's success at Many.
How did he do as the new HC at West Monroe?
As i recall, much of the ire on this board was directed at Jess Curtis and not Tackett. Tackett, as some others have observed did not lead LSU to believe it was his leader, nor did he cast shadows at LSU regarding his recruitment.

I've watched USC play a little this year, but didn't notice him at all. I had actually forgotten he played at USC, but your unnatural obsession with a teenage boy reminded me.

He went to Natchitoches Central not West Monroe. He had a LSU commit on his o-line, Joseph Cryer. They went 2-8 in his first season.

You are correct. Portal closed until sometime in December; EXCEPT as you pointed out the coach was fired or leaves as well I believe.
