I know.. All he has is degrading comments like you're dumb, or dumbest poster on here, or least knowledgable poster on here when all I see from him is crying like a woman.

Holy cow!!! Let the players get evaluated in camps before crying. Look at the offers these 3 star guys have.

This is exactly how Miles got in trouble. Everyone defended him whenever a 3 star recruit committed to LSU. "Who knows talent better.....Miles or Rivals?" I saw that question posted 1000 times if I saw it once. Before you knew it, LSU was trying to block Alabama's 5 start defensive linemen with 3 star offensive linemen.
Dammit.....go out and recruit. These 3 stars will come to LSU later as fall back recruits. In the meantime try and get players who can help you beat Alabama.....not lose to them for the umpteenth time.

Who said LSU will be built on 3 star players? Alabama takes 3 star players as well. Their best player in the defensive backfield last season was a 3 star recruit. LSU has had plenty of 4 and 5 star recruits the last 4 recruiting cycles. Right now our six 3* will go through 5 or 6 more evaluations. Not only that we can take 30 recruits this year. Even on years when they take 24-25 there is usually 5-8 three stars in the class. This year will be the same. The world isn't ending.

Our staff recruits talent, not stars.
5* guys are usually later.

Wait for the ranking updates. Some (not all) of these guys are carrying multiple offers from top tier programs and are still showing as 3*. That will correct after spring update.

A few questions.
1.) Why does everyone keep saying centers don't get high rankings and stars fact two all American centers were top 100 composite last year. Jack Anderson and Cesar Ruiz. Stop regurgitating that falsehood.

2.) why are half of the kids not evaluated properly. To me as big as these services are you mean to tell me it's that many kids that weren't on there radar. So all they do is scout camps and give grades or accept submission tapes. Has to be a way to get a more accurate class quicker than July.

I love looking at the rankings and sites star. To me it creates excitement and something to talk about during the offseason. But at the same time I understand that needs have to be filled and players will get better with coaching. Star don't mean crap once they hit college campus for day one.

I hope they update it soon.

Lol wow... Man some people just really don't know what they are talking about. Do you guys even know all the people LSU has offers to? We have offers to all the best prospects at their positions. We will get some and won't get others but in the mean time you should take who you think is the best possible guy that wants to play for LSU and commit now. It's all about evaluating, BTW Les Miles was never short on talent the problem was not taking the best guy then molding that guy to provide depth. That was the problem Les miles had was depth. Since ED O stepped in at LSU the front seven has completely changed in what 2 years lol. Y'all just watch and learn boys and girls. Watch and learn. Our OL wasn't even the problem it was putting those OL in precarious situations. That will change as well with Canada. Aranda has a stacked DL and LB core to go with talent on the backend. With how this team is now preparing in the offseason you will see a completely different team come kickoff. They will be fully confident and actually prepared to take on the SEC. Just sit back and watch!

The talent he put into the NFL kind of lends credence to him knowing how to evaluate talent. Keep melting, though.

But still go back and look at how many 5 stars ole nick has had pan out and which have transferred or didn't do well in college after being rated so high in HS.

The melt is real and Evans aren't even over with yet.

We just had two committed recruits make it to the Opening Finals in Oregon.

Some of y'all need to be patient.

You say Bama & Ohio State are recruiting at a higher level than LSU?

Yet, LSU has more players playing in the NFL than any other school. I doubt the NFL gives a shite about the players
"Star Rating" on Rivals or anywhere else.

Complaining about rankings of who we're taking before their junior year is even up is asinine.

Rankings change dramatically from now till next February.
Cole "crappy 3-star" Smith just got a All-American game invite.

Micah Baskerville just got rave reviews at camp this past weekend. Got an Opening finals invite.

Rankings of guys like these will change over time.
