What active roster is Barrow on? 2015 appears to be his last year in the league. Mingo I did forget about, so no narrative to begin with. Plus curious which LB is better than Mosley.

Queen is good, but I don't know about better than Moses. But if you want to end Bama's domination you have to step up if you're coach O and get Moses and Allen to decommit, change their damn minds to stay at home and stop selling out to the enemy. Alabama continues to stay strong off of the few LA recruits like this that Saban flips to the evil empire. If you want to beat these people you have to sign them and get the Levi Jone's, K'Lavon Chiasson's, Phidarian Mathis', Todd Harris', and Marvin Wilson's to commit to LSU.

Completely Agree. Get aggressive and find away to convince these studs to stay home.

Barrow is on the Bears injured reserve and still getting paid. Your weak attempts to discredit the number of LBs LSU has in the NFL is your narrative! Stat wise Kevin Minter is doing just as good as Mosley this year! Sorry to dispel your argument with facts!

Give them a truck, money, or hookers... I don't give a shite. The NCAA is a joke and they haven't done shite to other schools cheating (except southern).

Just get them dammit.

Eta- I got 5 on it

I didn't say LSU recruits well in Alabama, I said every state has five star players that leave. Learn to read, and once you've done that, look up Jameis Winston's home town.

These kids are going to the NFL regardless if they attend LSU or bama.

Not if they get lost in a sea of five star recruits and don't get the play time they deserve!

This sounds great, but at this point in the game, they are 90% if not more gone. Recruiting is a long game and they weren't lost yesterday. They were lost months ago. The smarter play is to cut the losses, sign the best guys you can to fill the need at LB this year (and there are very good players still on the board), and then formulate the strategy to win the next set of battles NOW. Those are battles that can still be legitimately turned and won.

Alabama: Upshaw Mosley Barron (who plays safety as well) Harris (not sure he plays) Hightower McClain Lee (practice squad maybe) Ragland

People tend to overrate alabama's guys because of how they fit into Saban's system. Hightower is the most productive guy at linebacker on this list. I like Mosely as well, you can't hold his current injury against his early career production. Ragland hasn't played a down, so he's a (?) until he see the field. Upshaw was so good he's been moved to DT with limited snaps, Barron is disqualified because he never played the position under Saban and sucked at the position Saban made his reputation upon (DB). McClain is probably banned from the NFL, Lee shouldn't even be mentioned.

As far the LSU guys it seems no one expects them to do much at the NFL level. The linebackers mentioned never received the fan fare of the Bama guys, but have been just as productive. Don't even mention the disparity at DB between the schools. Even Morris Claiborne held the top rating at corner in the NFL before injury once he was allowed to play press corner by Dallas.

Dude, my sister-in-law did that back in 1993.
It's been going on forever.

most recruits care a lot more about draft history when selling the NFL

Bama DOMINATES LSU in this category at LB

Saban can easily sell guys on "look at how many 1st round picks come from my teams". LSU cannot (at LB)

LSU has the most players in the league, or they are close to it. LSU doesn't have any problems getting players to the NFL.
bama has a specific lineage of getting lb, rush ends and OL to be drafted high in NFL

LSU has same claim with DBs

You have some delusion about loyalty when this is a business

Why are you hating on a system where the employee is going to a system that offers top benefits?

Bust U is bama. Kareem Jackson is a great example of that. Trent Richardson. HELL Ingram until last year was shitty

That argument is silly, Alabama could counter with Jamarcus, Mingo, Dorsey, etc....

LSU has some great players in Peterson, TM7, Beckham, Landry but so does Bama with Julio, Mosley, Hightower, Collins....

I wouldn't label Dorsey a bust. Alabama players are thought more highly of and drafted higher because of Saban and winning tradition. But the LSU players are equally as impressive and perform just as good and even better sometimes at the NFL level because they are just as good an athlete as the Alabama players. The difference imo simply is that the Bama players are in Saban's system which used to be LSU's system. You take this and turn it around and bring Saban back to LSU and it is LSU and it's players that are dominating the NCAA once again.

Meh he hasn't lived up to his billing but is still a rotation player. I mean I've seen some on here label Andre Smith a bust and he is still an offensive line starter.

Fact is both schools have their share of bust. Richardson is bad for Alabama like Russell is for LSU.

Doesn't add up for Allen or Moses!

Right now they are both solid to Bama no matter what Moses tweeted. It is going to take a Herculean recruiting effort to flip them, let's just hope Orgeron, Aranda and Craig can do it. I just don't see it though.
