Chris Allen went on record yesterday and said "id rather sit the bench and be developed by Bama than come to LSU and play right away"
With that and the fact Dylan Moses is actively recruiting for Bama, let's just forget about these front running kids who just want to jump on the bandwagon. Plenty of athletes who will be happy to play at LSU.
Defense isn't the problem anyway, gotta find the right QB and O-line.

That's interesting because LSU has the most players on current rosters in the NFL from any college team at 44 as of 9/16. Alabama had 42.
Kids , for the most part, go to school for the coaches, not for the school.
Most of those lsu players were coached by miles. Miles is no longer the coach. Original statement is likely correct. Saban has nfl skins on the wall. LSU staff does not

That is indicative of what's wrong. These kids are being fed a line of shite by Saban , and it's so powerful that not only the athletes believe it. Some of our own fans buy this crap!
Aranda is one of the best Defensive coordinators in the country! If any player believes that Aranda can't develope them then I must question what's between their ears. LSU doesn't have any problems putting players in the NFL, and that certainly is not going to change with Aranda leading them!

But they don't know that for sure. Look, I love LSU and love Aranda, otherwise I would be on here. But Saban has a 20 year track record of putting guys in the league. Aranda has been here 1 year with arguably the 2nd or 3rd most talented D we've ever had. The dude has simply done what he was supposed to do! I believe he and we will continue to produce great NFL quality players, but I am more certain that Saban and the Bama factory will! Saban ain't going no where, he will continue to attract top 5 coordinators. That's a fact and kids know that and put their future, a multi-million dollar future in his hands because it's the safest bet!
Aranda, I love the guy, but in 2 years, he will not be here! And they know that and they don't wanna chance a multi-million dollar NFL career on that!

Kids go to colleges where they see the best fit. Top talented kids are going to where they think they can get to the NFL. The coaches at these schools have to convince these kids that they are the best choice to get them where they want to go. Simple.

No our poor offense and lack of a competent offense has brought lsu down. With 4* and 3* linebackers we have done well but we can't find a quarterback to or OC to score points

Kendell Beckwith under 1 year of Aranda teaching looks better than any linebacker on the Gump's roster. Duke Riley looks amazing also. Tosh is selling these kids lies.
LSU has more linebackers in the NFL and they are playing considerably better than the ones from Gumpville. Almost twice as many. LSU needs to use the data to their advantage. It is ridiculous how we are being out recruited at LB when we are the hands down better choice for Allen and Moses. Not to mention this is a 40 year decision and not a 4 year decision.
