I'm interested to hear what position they offered him at.
Hopefully at RB, which I think is the case. At a minimum he's the "complement" to so many plays/formations. Assuming he puts in the work (good assumption IMHO) and he gets used enough he'll be a guy that the opposition has to account for pre-snap and worry about sideline to sideline.

This kid will never live up to the hype given on this board.

The only thing LSU and him have thats favorable is that Cam Cameron and Les Miles are no longer part of the program.

ds me of the most will probably draw a laugh from LSU fans. In all honesty, he is A LOT like Josh Reed.

I don't think you comparing him to Reed is outrageous at all. Both played runningback and bring that mentality to WR. Congrats on the offer I know your excited for him. Love to see North La guys get offers especially in a talent rich area like Monroe.

Not production wise, I mean good God at the pressure. Just saying his size/speed in high school plus positions played. His total yards, Rushing/Passing/Receiving, this year were almost identical to Reed's rushing yards as a junior. Reed was a monster. Slade did have 13 more total touchdowns, so he's got that going for him, which is nice...

What hype? No one is insinuating he will be an All-American. Comparisons to other players doesn't insinuate all-american either.

The kid can play. Maybe you should watch a lot of film and see for yourself. I have. I have seen a LOT. He is not the best receiver in the state, but he is the best all-around athlete in the state of Louisiana and there is no close-second.

He could be a lot of things if used correctly. What you are definitely getting is a player who is coming into an offense that will utilize this type talent to the fullest. Christian McCaffrey is not a bad comparison whatsoever.

Not saying he isn't, but anyone in the slot would look bad in Miles and Cam's archaic so called offense.

Quinn's career was over after he took that helmet to helmet hit against bama. From that point on he was terrified to catch the ball

I would say he is similar to Rex Burkhead that played at Nebraska. Very versatile, not real big but a complete player.

I'm assuming he wants to play both football and baseball. I wonder what Coach O's policy on playing another sport is. LSU and TCU would both be great spots for a 2-sport star. Selfishly, I want him to come to LSU, obviously. As a West Monroe alum, though, I just wish him success and will pull for him to no matter where he goes.

It would be nice to see a WM guy score a touchdown for the Tigers again. I think it's been 17 years when Tommy Banks caught 2 touchdown passes in the epic Peach Bowl comeback against Georgia Tech in 2000.

I would be too going across the middle and Jennings or Harris is your QB.

That "pipeline" to TCU has been from WM players that were NOT offered by LSU. Also remember from 1995-2011ish, WM sent more football players to LSU than any other high school program.

Looks like a APB and will be productive on 3rd downs. Has really good hands just isolate him on LB's.

Canada's offense seems to have passes to RBs and runs to WRs so he should find work.
