go read Brandon Harris' interview on the main page.

apply the same thing to Quinn. He never had a shot in a Les/Cam offense.

Some of the posters here will eat a lot of crow over this kid. I hope LSU lands him (and, I think they will), he is going to surprise the naysayers. He's out-performed expectations at every level & does whatever it takes to keep winning. He is at home at multiple positions and will prove a perfect fit for Canada's system. Be glad he got the offer & hope he takes it.

How's his frame in terms of weight? His current size is good but 210-215 would be ideal. Can he get there?

He could add 15-20 pounds upper body easily. He carries his weight in his arse and thighs at the moment. Let me see if I can find a pic.

JJ27...is he in the Christian McCaffery mold? Size and speed are similar.

Except he had quite a bit of playing time and couldn't catch the ball

Yep, I seem to remember a critical drop or two in the Alabama game.

Every LSU receiver had drop issues. Quinn's problem became mental IMO

I agree the kid has a chance to be successful in the new offense.

Swiss army knife type like McCaffrey.

And had shitty QBs who couldn't throw a slant to save their lives.

The guy he reminds me of the most will probably draw a laugh from LSU fans. In all honesty, he is A LOT like Josh Reed.

My favorite LSU player of all time.

If this guy reminds you of him, then he can be a very special player.

This kid will never live up to the hype given on this board.

Have you seen him play in person ? Freakish game speed and vision.
shite, have you even seen a highlight tape? You're truly retarded.

Bolden is the type of kid you want in a motion heavy spread attack.

He is criminally underrated, but he will rise higher before the end of summer and by the end of football season next year.

I agree with this. If the recruiting sites were worth much he'll finish as a top 3 APB.

TCU mods say LSU just sneaks into his top 10 with this offer.

Sophomore Highlights

I think his Sophomore highlights are likely closer to the way Canada would use him than his Junior Highlights. You can see he's gotten a lot faster. He came in a little heavy his sophomore year. He dropped some weight and his speed picked up.

He's not an every down back, but he is an every down player. He can be 190-195 and be extremely successful. With this offense our idea of what a RB has to be can change.

As a lifelong LSU fan, the offer meant a lot to Bolden, but it didn’t automatically propel LSU to the top of a growing list of offers. From Ole Miss to Washington to TCU, the 5'11", 190-pound back has 20-plus offers from all over the country. And because they’ve been steadily coming in since Washington offered him a year ago, Bolden’s college decision won’t be made with his heart alone. “I never looked at the LSU offer as a make-or-break situation,” Bolden said. “This definitely gives me another option, and if I would have gotten it a year ago, maybe I would have been all over it. But now that I’ve been part of the process, I realize that there is some situations you fit and some you don’t fit at all. So I just have to go through the process. This is definitely a huge offer, though.”

Like I said, the kid isn't going to make a snap judgement. Once he commits, he's done.
