LA kid to BAMA?

I'm trying to find out if there is any truth to this rumor.It's a very strong one with legs it seems.If anyone with good contacts around LA could find some info out or ask around to see if there's anything out there it would be greatly appreciated.No one that I have for contacts in LA knows anything as of right now.Not trying to set off any alarms just trying to figure out who the rumor is supposed to be about and if it's true.

Could be Mickey Johnson. his thread has scared the s**t out of me. I want him, Sylvie and Beckman Jr. but atleast 2 of those guys are shopping hard. (what I take from this board.)
I think Beckman will get his offer at WR ( the opportunity to try out) Like the RS situation if he continues to shine at camps and during his senior season.
Mickey Johnson, I dont understand that one. He seems like he would want to play for us considering we have produced 2 top 5 defensive lineman in the past few years. Sylvie could just be scared off by numbers. but unless he gos to a lower tier school everyone has depth. He will have to work hard and come to play everywhere he goes.

If it's not MJ, than I'm calling BS on the rumor. I don't think Sylvie went to the Spring Game, and even if he did, I don't think he would committ to anyone just yet. Whether or not he will go to LSU is yet to be seen.

Only LA kids we have offered to my knowledge are Johnson, Rasco, Robinson, Sylve, and Turner.

Sylve was definitely there.I just don't believe it would be him and if so it won't stick.

I posted it here because i know that some of you guys have good contacts around the state that could maybe get a read on the situation.Not meant to cause alarm.Just trying to either squash or confirm the rumor.

I hope it is Johnson but there was a Pettaway kid DE that named Bama his leader but he is not from LA but was at the camp could that be who the rumore is about?

Keep dreaming about Johnson. Not happening as long as Wilson is on staff.
I seriously doubt Sylve is leaning to Bama too...
Rasco rumors are he didn't even enjoy being around Saban...not sure how true that is.
Beckham's dad played for LSU and hes a legacy...nuff said there.
Robinson has said hes all LSU...just making sure its the right choice.

Alittle contradicting, unless there are two Johnsons and I was referring to Mickey Johnson.

Sylve isn't going to Bama...I'll put money on it. If he did commit this early, Bama would almost surely lose him in the end, IMO. LSU would just hit him up that much harder until NSD. Depth could be a issue...but LSU hasn't exactly had problems sending WRs high in the draft, even with all the depth. A lot of people have said hes a heavy LSU lean almost committing at once...not worried about him.

It could have legs...but like I said, wouldn't lose sleep over it. If he did commit to Bama, I'd rather him do it now. It would be incredibly hard for Bama to keep a LA kid LSU wanted all the way to NSD.
LSU could probably be one of the few schools to sell WR depth. Just a few years ago two guys went into the first round together. Sylve should be a huge priority for us because he gives us a true slot WR we completely lack right now. I guess you could say RS but he has a loooooooooooooooooong ways to go in developing into a true WR.

At this point, the only likely verbal to Bama would be one of the kids from Rayville, neither of which have LSU offers.
