The only thing i can say about Mickey is that b/w him and sylve Mickey is more of the Bama "lean"...but i really cant see him commiting anywer soon..he plans on playing out the process as long as possible..

I have confirmed the rumor but am not at liberty to say who it is.Sorry if that's upsetting to anyone but in order to have sources you have to protect info until it's ready to come out.

Yeah we are in good shape with funderburke since he played with sims and have a chance with singleton and brassell from miss.

If it's not the guy that I'm talking about I'll never say a word.Probably won't even when it goes public.
NATidefan,I did get the rumor confirmed by a Bama source.It's a LA kid so definitely not Funderburke(he would commit if Bama gave him a firm offer).
I didn't post the confirmation without the name as a means of making people talk or get upset.I have to protect the source's info because it's a good source and if people spread every bit of info then sources wouldn't give it out.It will be public soon enough.We'll all just have to wait.

In fairness to him, its much better to do what he's doing than the guy that said Landry is a thug and likely won't make it to college or that he was going to go to a SWAC school.

1st of all I'm not spreading rumors.I asked yesterday if anyone had heard anything about a rumored LA kid commiting to Bama.
2nd i confirmed it so it's no longer a rumor.It's fact now just waiting to be made public.But to appease you,the almighty i will not post again in this thread.
I started the thread because i feel that some of you guys have good info and contacts around LA.I live in VA and only have family and friends who are limited to certain spots in the state with no close ties to the programs or kids except for kids in their areas and from people they know.I thought the board was for posting info and asking for info based on LSU recruiting.If it's not then someone please explain to me what good it is.I didn't come attempting to flame or start baseless rumors.I asked for info to squash/confirm a rumor and thought some of you guys could help.It bothers me as much as any of you for a LA kid to go elsewhere.I was trying to show some respect to some of the guys on here that i trust have good info.

I and others on here wouldn't ask for info, supposedly get said info then tell everyone you got what you wanted and then not tell... Seems a bit shady to me and I'm sure others on here. Not only shady, it seems a bit attention seeking

Quinta Funderburke is 6-5 205 now, or so say his coach. He'll commit to Alabama if he gets a firm offer. He wants to play with former teammate Phillip Sims.
