Because clearly those are the only two staff members that recruit any offensive players...

You are the first person to say that everyone dislikes Johnson. He will be a project but could be a star by the time his career is over.

I wanted Jt Barrett or him as our QB,i think we end up getting him. Seems Les really wants him and i think he sees that.

To me Tool project is taking a RS year and learning the system. I should have phrased it better.

I agree...fantastic.

We may be the only legit FBS program that offers this guy...and he plays in Alabama. What does that say?

I'll still hold out hope for a Ferguson...or even a Thomas or a Sandberg. But I think Les has made up his mind and blocked everyone else out but JJ2.0.

F@ck.

I personally and may be the only guy in the world that liked JJ,no matter how bad his games was I was always behind the guy. From the time he ran the ball for a touchdown against Tulane to the time he was god awful against Alabama i have cheered for the guy. I hope we do get Jeremy but i think he will be the other sort of Tigers. Idk who our QB will be. Its up in the air.

The LSU Football program needs to start pursuing a different type of QB than in previous years. It is a proven and unchangeable fact that Les Miles is a terrible evaluator of quarterback talent and is Kryptonite to the really good QB recruits. As long as CLM is our coach, this is the way it is going to be. I've witnessed too much and held my tongue way too long. Don't hold your breath on signing a good pocket passer any time soon.

WEEEEEL GOSH DURNIT LETS LOAD UP OUR SHOTGUNS AND GO TELL LESLIE WHUUUT THA FUUUUUCK WE THAAAANK ABOUT HIS COACHIN.

AND WHAAAYYYLE WERE AT IT LETS GET THAT MEEEHHHXICUN JINDULLL OUT OF OFFICE TWWOOOOO.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Accuracy / Consistency
Ball Handling
Release

Add foot work and knowledge of the game as "areas of improvement" and you have a Jordon Jefferson clone.

Please get a qb who can throw or move to the single wing.

He looks like a solid prospect. A tall pocket passer type QB.

For the people freaking out, just remember how awful Stephen Rivers' film looked. He was throwing the football like a shot. It seems like he's going to work out now.

I'm not worried.

it'd be fine if Miles' dream for him wasn't to make him a below average passer/below average runner to keep those Bama defenses off balance
