My thread just needs to be deleted this what not what I was hoping for in a discussion.

I say we have this emoticon changed from speechless to unsettled.

Unfortunately, every thread that involves a black QB will likely get this treatment for a few years. Too many close-minded idiots on this board

Notice Mett didn't sign with LSU out of high school? I'm sure we weren't even a thought in his mind.
quote:He was arrested once, and it was not "really crazy," and a number of other big time schools recruited him hard.
ONly after he had the stench of a really crazy arrest record and not many other big time D1 schools would consider him, did we have a shot at him.
quote:Now we get to the heart of the matter--you needed another excuse to go crap on our coach, and chose this totally random, unrelated thread to make your point. Fine, then go start a thread on the Rant where this bullshite belongs, and don't clutter up the RB.
I was never sold on CLM and never will be. You and me together with the assistant coaches he's had, could've taken LSU's talent and achieved a winning record over his same tenure.
quote:Trying to bring someone down is EXACTLY what you are trying to do, and trying to hide behind the guise of honesty is a really disingenuous way to do it.

Thats what youre going to get with any qb this board percieves as a "dual threat"
Im starting to believe there are posters on this board that would be pissed if we signed RGIII for the 2013 class (imaginary senerio obviously)

well...............only a racist person would take note of that. I dont even look at skin
and I call bullshite on that. I questioned JLee's decision making too and he is white as chalk. as far a HS kid is concerned, there is one iota of the decision making a HS QB has to make vs that of a college QB so maybe nobody should be worrying about decision making of a QB recruit (unless its off the field)

Funny you said that about RGIII he actually wanted to come to LSU I wonder how bad it would have been here then...

"Move him to WR"
"Hes the next JJ!!!!!!!"
"Why cant we recruit real QBs?!!!"
These would be a few examples if we were recruiting RGIII today
ETA completely different story if it was before getting scarred from the last 4 years

It is a proven and unchangeable fact that Les Miles is a terrible evaluator of quarterback talent
wow, weis must suck at qb evaluations. (he and miles liked Dayne C.
Jimbo must suck at qb evaluations. he and miles liked/recruited e.j. manuel and jamie winston.
Jim harbaugh must suck at qb evaluation, he and miles liked/recruited luck.
Kelley must suck at qb evaluations, he and miles liked/recruited gunner.
saban must suck at qb evaluations, he and miles recruited A.J. M, mett and the kid from florida.
Mack brown must suck at qb evaluations, he and miles recruited ryan p.
bobby p must suck at qb evaluations because he and milese recruited Zach Lee.
I don't think the evaluations have been poor. I think keeping the guys on campus and winning the signature of others has been the issue.
how things could be different if ryan p wasn't a knucklehead or Zach Lee isn't offered 4 million by a bankrupt organization.

While I agree, this is usually true of rantards, this white 2014 QB did raise a lot of questions about his above the shoulder ability.

Thanks. My post was directed at LSUEddie, who only took a few posts to turn this into a bashing Miles thread.
I have read the recruiting board for years, and i appreciate those who actually bring info on potential recruits to the table for us all to discuss.
His moronic posts just got to me. Especially the comment about being in Coach Miles position, with the assistants, he could have done better. Its just a tired argument. Keep it on the rant, with the other fair weather fans who seem to rather bash the program than look at the positives and great direction this staff has put us in. It has nothing to do with a QB we are looking at who is 17.
And thanks for your updates easttx. Lets get back to Jeremy Johnson.

If his accuracy and release need improvement, I don't see why LSU has him #1... Especially w Bateman, Mitch, Kincade still up for grabs

His potential is sky high.
