I didn't see anything special on film... he's just solid size with solid speed, so I'm not sure where the love affair is with him. I hope I'm wrong
We already have a lot of redshirt frosh and true frosh WRs, as well as several already in this class before we hit summer time (with real possibilities at better WRs still undecided)
Now we offer a kid who can only contribute for 2 years for us.
As a rule, this is a questionable one IMO
I pray it isn't an indication that all of those redshirt freshmen WRs arent showing any promise...if so, whoever evaluates WRs needs to take some heat, especially after taking that many WRs in '08 and leaving Laron Byrd for Miami to take out of state

I figured that would be the logic
but D Byrd showed better flashes in his video than this kid IMO...I was against getting D Byrd because I didnt think LSU had to waste schollies on 2yr playmakers
I was wrong about him, but Lee's video doesn't appear to show someone of D Byrd's caliber... Byrd always had great speed
