Is LSU going away from the white athlete ?

We normally recruit at least a couple of o-lineman every year that are white. Last year only Mettenberger and Rivers,both qb's was the only white boys in our class.This year the only white boy is a long snapper.Not saying its bad or anything like that,but is it part of Miles plan now to recruit black o-lineman that are 330 lbs or more.

Yes, Miles is slowly creating an all black line in effort to cut out the white man.
The better player gets the spot. That's it.

Lol. You know there is a great chance LSU signs a two black qbs as well.

Just a few years ago Miles was caste football's favorite college coach and now he won't even recruit white lineman.

I think it is part of a plan. T-Bob,Josh D, to name a couple, came to LSU in the 260 lb range. They have been manhandled up front by large defensive tackles. I think we are now going for massive players,that just happen tobe black.

Lets not make race an issue. There are simply alot of black kids playing football and they can play!
You rarely see white kids play the skilled positions anymore except for QB and TE, maybe Safety on defense. If that is your point then perhaps you have an arguement. The last white WR I remember us having is Booty (perhaps Quinn can break that streak in 2014!). And of course who can forget our boy Hester at RB/FB.
But to say that LSU is intentionally not recruiting white kids is hogwash. LSU is recruiting the best football players, and our state is loaded with incredibly gifted black high school football players who can flat out run!
For the record, I am white!

I agree that their is likely no "conspiracy" by les miles to recruit based on skin color.
My only concern would be the next time the "why do we only have x number of black college head coaches" comes up, will all of you be so quick to dismiss their claims and be critical of the person who posts it?
I'll close by saying when it comes to the "color" of my players...I only want ones who are purple and gold on the inside!

LSU is going toward best in class and highest ceiling.
I don't see it as a color issue. It is a best available all around guy who can help the program win.
