I just read on 247 that Scott had an offer from Harvard. I realize it's not big time football but jeez that's a serious education being offered to you. You are pretty much set with a degree from there.

The Ivy League outlaws athletic scholarships. They can give him an academic scholarship, but I don't know how much that'd be.

Alot of money, but what cost the most is the liberal bias.

He would get an academic scholly only if he qualifies. No idea if that is the case or not. But no athletic scholly just an invitation to pay full tuition. It can help you gain entrance though.

It's all need based as to what the school will provide. Depends on family income situation.

Harvard does not give any athletic scholarships. They provide Financial aid to all accepted students based on there families household income.

Athletes do have the advantage of having a coach assist them in getting into school!!!

I remember there was an LSU track guy with a Harvard offer that had a 22 ACT. It's absurd.

With a 25 ACT, there would have to be something else to get him a schollie there, like a minority inclusion.

From what I've heard this kid is a very good student, a leader both on and off the field. And I've seen him play. He can run (a very good, strong runner) and throw as a set up qb and on the run.

You may be right but what do you base that on?

Trivia: How many Harvard QBs are starting for NFL Teams? How many LSU QBs are starting for NFL teams?

The answer may surprise.
