Whats up chucksters? I know quite a few people from SCC. W. Stein, J.James, B.Madere. I'm guessing you know them.

man, I disagree
Williams can't run inside. And it looks like he can't hit the corner this year. Somethings up with him.

Murphy is unproven. So that automatically makes Fenroy better than him.

I'd take Murphy's verstaility and athleticism...yeah, he has not gotten off the ground in limited action, but have you honestly seen opportunity to do so? I haven't...when he has been in the game and gotten the rock the opposing Ds have been in the backfield. I'm not disappointed in Dick yet, just think he's been a bit unlucky.

Keiland has had disappointing moments where you wish he ran with more passion, but we know what Keiland can be when Keiland is in a groove...no question he is a better back than Fenroy...at least in my eyes

For anyone to say this cat would be better, or "all around" better than Charles Scott is absurd.

Better than Charles Scott? Hell no. But just because a player plays for a small school against weaker competition, doesn't mean that he can't play for a bigger school.

How many rushing yards in a season would an SEC-caliber running back have if he suddenly played for a Sun Belt school? You can't judge a player simply because of the team he plays for.

Not totally true. Not many shitty players playing in the SEC.

in fenroy's favor is that he has only played against 1 Sunbelt defense this year. He ran well against K-State, I don't remember what he did at Illinois.

Every year some HS kid flies under the radar and signs with a smaller school. I'm sure Fenroy is more motivated at a perceived slight by the bigger schools who passed on him. In a few cases, possibly even his, this motivation actually leads these players to become better football players than the larger school players.

Just think, if D. Byrd had been eligible out of high school he'd be at FIU. Would he be any worse of a receiver? I doubt it. It's just an example of how guys can slip through the cracks.

That's true. I imagine recruiting isn't an exact science, and since there are so many prospects every year, it's easy to see why players like Fenroy can be overlooked.

FWIW, Fenroy has only played one game against the Sun Belt this year and is 3rd in the nation.

I watched him Saturday and don't think he'd start over Scott. Not saying he can't play, but I think Scott's better

Funny you should say that, because St. Charles held him to under 75 total yards in his final HS game. And Fenroy had a total of one fumble his senior year at St. Charles.
