I know you guys are going to blast me for this, but I was the kicker for St Charles Catholic, Grad in 1995. Dont laught at our mascot either, the Comets!!!!

Tyrell was a great RB and returner at SCC.

Calvin Dawsen of ULM led the Sunbelt in rushing the last 2 years and was not drafted.

Because he's at UL he could never deserve to wear an LSU uniform? He could play for LSU and as or right now, is a better back than Williams and Murphy.

Sweet joke.

I watched him Saturday and don't think he'd start over Scott. Not saying he can't play, but I think Scott's better.

the state produces RBs like water...several 'could' have played at LSU in recent years...we're not exactly hurting at the position

If Fenroy and Brown and Forte, etc. were LBs then I'd be pissed...RBs, we have those

No one said he was better than Scott.

Fenroy would start for half of the SEC teams.

For one, Tyrell Fenroy weighs in at a wopping 185 soaking wet. Not to mention he's about 5'10 with heels. And like someone posted earlier, the state does produce alot of runningbacks. Also, his game is based more on speed than power. his speed may be "great" by sun-belt standards, but hell, with the speed of SEC defenses and the overall talent, you have to be a smashmouth powerback.

Im not bashing UL-L, I happen to like Tyrell fenroy, but when you say Fenroy is better than Murphy and Williams, haha. The talent levels between the Sunbelt and the SEC is huge. And to further my argument, doesn't UL-L run the ball damn near 80-85% of the game. So when you say Calvin Dawson isnt on Fenroy's level when UL-M is a balanced offense, that isn't very true when calvin was seeing 18-25 touches as opposed to fenroys 25+ touches w/ a QB thats more of a runner than a passer on the QB choice in the spread.

Hey Guys, I registered just to reply to this Fenroy thread. I own a company that prints uniforms in LaPlace. Fenroy's Parents came into my shop last Friday to get Fenroy's name on a jersey. I had to ask them about Fenroy since I'm a SCC grad and a LSU season ticket holder for 15 years. They told me that Saban told him that he would only return punts for LSU, since he wanted to play HB he was going to go to Miss State, but when Croom was hired the coach recruiting him was let go. It's a shame since Saban is gone and Miles might have given this kid a shot (given that Hester was a 2 Star LB in high school.)

Side note to this story, Fenroy's SCC Team played Charles Scott's team in the playoffs. Scott took the opening kick for a TD, then Fenroy helped SCC to a 21 to 7 win (the score might have been 28-7, I cant' remember)

PS I'm looking foward to having some good LSU conversations with you guys

I agree %1,000,000,000,000,000,000 Big difference between the SEC defenses and the funbelch defenses!!!!! The talent level is miles appart. This fenroy guy would not be able to do any of what he's doing in the funblech against ANY defense in the SEC. Whole different universe between the SEC and the funbelch. He (fenroy) is a good funbelch back playing against downright horrible defenses. For anyone to say this cat would be better, or "all around" better than Charles Scott is absurd. :snoozer:
