I'm glad the Saints took LSU's lead by hiring a guy who has done this before.
With the Saints offense, we don't have to have the #1 defense. Being in the top 15 will get us where we want to be....

They put a big time pass rush and force the QB into mistakes. Ed Reed is a Hall of Fame player but the other secondary guys are just good.

I agree, Jack Del Rio is a "Defensive" coach, they butted heads all season. He wouldn't have that problem here. Payton was told yesterday that NFL teams play defense too.

I can understand not getting the MVP because of the Saints record, But not being a pro bowl starter is unbelievable to me.
This reminds of Colt McCoy winning the Big 12 Player of the year award and not getting first team honors...
