This is not new, honestly.

It seems strange because they are blood brothers, but package deals for teammates has been happening since forever.

Have many worked out lately? I am trying to think about it but none off the top of my head.

Depends on what you call "working out".

Bama got Cam Rob in part by taking Cam Sims.

We got Leonard partly because we promised to take Lanard.

I'd say both probably worked out.

I would take Sopsher's bro if he turned out how Lanard did with a little production. Why not at this point

Devonte Lee is 80% Kentucky, 20% LSU. He lives with the Amite QB that is also going to Kentucky.

AMEN! Wasted scholarship. Better off giving it to someone that might turn out to be a great player for LSU.

bugafor6 Unfortunately I don't think there are many on here that understand that concept. People get wrapped up in the star ratings and don't see the bigger picture. Giving up 2 scholarships for 1 player just doesn't make sense. It'd be different if Rodney was a decent player and had some potential. I mean even if it was as a long snapper, something, but from what I've heard he isn't even playing football right now. I mean, what if Kardell has a brother, Stingley a brother, Emery a brother, you give up 8 scholarships for 4 players? Just doesn't add up.

I agree and yet disagree. We need a dominant DT. Look what a dominant DT did for MS State. It can be a game changer. If we had other options, I’d be highly against offering this deal, but the problem is, we don’t have other legitimate options.

I think it’s a moot point to argue anyway because I’m pretty sure Sopsher is Bama bound.

IMHO-There's is no way in hell I would give the brother a scholarship. And if Ish is Demanding that, then I would tell him to kick rocks. At least Lanard has something to offer, Rodney not so much.

If we had signed a premier back last year (Etienne or Akers), Lanard would have never seen the field. Just being honest here. Lanard played some this year because neither of our current RBs that played this year are outstanding backs.
