Nice write-up Coxie's 40 time probably won't wow anyone, but he finds ways to get the football.

My old coach use to say you do not need speed but imagination to play Receiver!

Landry wasn't a burner either, but he sure was good.

Josh Reed ran a 4.6, yet somehow managed nearly 2000 yards receiving in '01.

That's right. Speed isn't everything at the WR position.

Landry

Exactly who he reminds me of.

He is going to hurt someone on special teams, just like Jarvis.

He's built more like Cam Sims than Hines Ward.

He's a good receiver on film. Like I said earlier, he looks like the recievers Georgia has had the last 3 or 4 years. He's not explosive, but he's a good athlete who finds ways to get his hands on the football. Coach Tony Ball will love working with him.

bob hayes needed speed. josh reed didn't. speed is only one element of being a WR and not the most important one at that.

Neither did Jerry Rice or Michael Irvin, both of whom ran a similar time.

It's an embarrassment of riches at receiver. I hope most of them get involved the next few seasons.

He is 5 inches taller than Hines Ward. He is more like Michael Irvin.

He's too slow...like Jerry Rice and Jarvis Landry.

The difference in 4.4 and 4.6 is minute until the they get out into the open and have room to run. Remember a physical receiver like Diarse had a touchdown and he just ran through, around, and over players.

Plus some people forget that the game is football not track. You want good football players with good football instincts.
