Rivals' last update destroyed our class (in terms of rivals and composite rankings).
We dropped like 11 or 12 points on the composite when rivals did their last update, it was insane. Something like 9 guys dropped and only 4 rose. And the guys who dropped on average was way more than the guys who rose on average...was pretty much the opposite for Bama.

2) We got screwed in the ranking. Our top guys were abolished by Rivals and 247 didnt do us much favor either.

And what's so strange is that all through the season when I would check our commitments, there seemed to be like five 5 star guys and then a bunch of 4 stars. Then all of the sudden we have zero 5 star players.
Rivals has this class at #6. What a joke. This has to be the greatest 6th ranked class of all time. They have lost all credibility with me. I know they have to cater to their gump subscribers but come on, don't make it so blatant.

Yeah, the copy and paste from excel didn't work out to well.
I just wanted to see what all the results were side by side. Got downvoted to hell, oh well.
I find it interesting that no one ever talks about 247's rankings, just their composite rankings.

We have a great group to come in and join the "savages" we have returning. IDGAF about what those services say. We will have the talent to run for a NC next year. That is....if our coaches can get it done.

I'd worry about the rankings if any of those pimply geeks coached football. They don't .
Just like you have to outplay the opponents AND the officials, so you have to have a 40 point advantage to finish ranked ahead of Alabama

Right, if I recall correctly Bama grads are on staff at 3 of the major services and run 2 of them.

You arent paying for rankings, well at least LSU subscribers certainly arent.

We have a composite top 5 class, which means championship level talent. That's the thing that really matters.

Because the end result is awesome? Rivals takes the gump money and the gumps get to bask in the glow of another #1 recruiting class. It's a good time to be a gump. Just won another championship, greatest coach ever, another #1 recruiting class. I hope they are cherishing these moments because they will remember them fondly when/if they fall back down to earth.
I mean, it can't go on like this forever right?
