The thing is, there isn't a ton of room left, and most of the top prosects this year are getting gobbled up by Fla bc they are the hot team.

Actually, since this is a thread about DL recruiting, I am wondering why we weren't after Mike Thornton from Stone Mountain. Check out his film, that is one of the few DTs that looks bigtime this year.
The DLs in Florida, meh, the good ones are going to stay in state. Miss, more meh besides Carlos Thompson, and he's not a DT.
It simply is a weak year for DTs. People would be jacking off on this board if we got Richard Ash bc he's a 4* from Florida with a bunch of great "offers" that aren't commitable. But watch his film, and you'll see that he's a project. Blackmon could very easily be better than him.

It was Riley who made the list. And the reason he made the list is bc that list is made up by NFL people, and scouts consider him one of the better Senior OLB prospects.
Sheppard will never make that list bc he isn't that talented.
