I wasn't around recruiting during the Kiel ordeal, but don't relate kiel fricking over the program to Fowler staying home.

I thought he called him a motherfu$$er, but Miles' mic cut out so it sounded like "momma's boy"

Les is getting to the age that he has less of a filter than even he once had. I can understand his frustration with some of these kids and their "commitments". Way to tell him like it is.

He shouldn't have to bite his tongue over this. Fowler is 100% in the wrong with the way he handled this situation. No chest

Strong will succeed at UT if he's given time.

Nope. He lets the inmates run the asylum.

No strong wont he managed to be worse this year than he was last year. They wont give him long enough because it would take 6 years to rebuild with his methods.

I doubt it. His South Florida connections won't save him in Texas.

Miles was asked about Fowler leaving the class at the last second.

"It's never fun. We are men of our words and we had a scholarship for him. It's what we do. Many times, the prospect is not held to that same level. But I have always believed that the guys that were meant to be here are here."

I tried to tell em that the other day, but they'll see it start next year. Strong is making some serious moves. He's only got one of his classes in (2015), but already got the problems out of the coaching staff (oline coach, OC/QB). He also has a young running game and OL that he can rely on the next 2-3 years plus he recruited well there this year. He also loaded up on the defense, AGAIN this year. I mean WOW! That defensive haul is one of the top 5 best defensive hauls this year.

The guy has an Art Briles disciple at OC who coached under two Briles disciples and has already coached a QB to the NFL. They already have an early enrolle QB who is in the mold of a Colt McCoy and they have recruited as many WRs as anybody else over the last two years.

Charlie Strong's rebuild is very interesting to me. He has a legit chance to turn Texas into a powerhouse again. I really believe a lot of people vastly underrate him.

ETA:
I really want to see LSU and Texas as two powerhouses going against each other in 2019-2020.

- Butch Jones is bringing back Tennessee (no matter how many people want to believe it's just hype)

- Jim Harbaugh is bringing back Michigan (and he's doing it in a big way)

USC is the last traditional power that can realistically be brought back within the next year or two.

Will be great to see CFB at its glory days again. Would really like an 8 team playoff now.
