You didn't hurt my feelings at all.

I'm just curious how what that dude posted makes him racist? How exactly did you come to that conclusion?
Do you even what racists means?

The problem with what LSU did was put their eggs in that one basket for a kid living 12 miles form Austin and had to know that his mom wanted him close to home. Their were a lot of other really good linebackers out of state linebackers that didn't live 15 minutes from a major D1 campus that Miles could have gone after. So I really don't get this strategy any more than whole Franks QB thing.
What EXACTLY did you want LSU to do?

Nope. He kicked off 9 players from UT shortly after arriving. Several more left later. You're very wrong

Strong is as shady as they come. He had Cuffee and McCullouch go to rival OV's to recruit for Texas and also had Elliott and Fowler to wait until very last minute to decommitt so teams had no time to recruit anybody else.

As bad as they were last year, they actually beat OU and Baylor. You guys that just assume Texas will continue to suck are kidding yourselves.

mojoey, you are an idiot.

Miles said he had a scholarship for the kid. And he held that scholarship for him. Never changing.

The kid is allowed to change his mind, but if he is not sure, he needs to not verbally commit.

I am not, and will not beat up on this kid, because i don't care that much about it. But mojoey, you are comparing apples and oranges. Think it through, buddy.

Why should we assume anything less until they prove they don't suck?

Why bring race into it? If the kid was white you'd see the same reaction from LSU fans. Fowler changing his mind is not the issue. The fact that he did not notify the LSU staff is.

This guy's post reeks of someone playing the race card.

I'm white, and I was just making a point. I felt the same way when LSU fans ripped apart Gunner Kiel. Sounds like a bunch of sour grapes from people who have nothing better in life than to pin their hopes on the backs of a bunch of 18 year old kids.

If LSU ever gets a last minute signee, its a great move by Miles. But if someone ever flips one of LSU's recruits, then they must be scorned and ridiculed for the rest of their college days. I get it.

This clearly is an assumption on your part. That is not why he did it and said as much. I believe him when he says he didn't want his program attacked.

CLM had respect enough for the kid to offer him a chance to a part of something special and he honored it until the end.

It's not about the life decision that Fowler chose but, it's the lack of respect and integrity that he gave in return. CLM and LSU will be fine without him and will move forward.

Hopefully, young Fowler will recognize that this is not how you treat situations and people that have shown you respect and want to help. I wish him well and hope he develops on the field and also a stronger character build that I know he would have gotten in Baton Rouge.

Maybe he did say it. In the same breath, it would be an assumption on your part that he did not do it to do both.

He had to know that it would cause the two teams to totally miss out on a viable replacement for guys that had been committed for 6 months and longer.

So should the staff not go after players who are too close to other schools? The guy committed a year ago and has remained solid for entire recruiting cycle until the last day. And you cant really fault Les for not going after other LBs because IF Fowler stays true to his word what do you do with the other ones that you no longer have room for?

Ummm, they both fricked over the program. Neither notified the staff!!!

We keep hearing this but did you all notice that we have offered every linebacker in the country that would listen to us in the last 3-4 weeks. Kid had an "Announcement interview" scheduled for NSD. If the LSU staff did not know this was happening then they are pretty dumb. I don't think they are dumb.

Personally, I think they convinced him to leave his commitment on the board but knew he was wavering and was likely to flip. You heard essentially nothing from LSU staff on this issue.

Keil on the other hand failed to show up for EE enrollment and bumped another player out for that slot and he wound up playing for Auburn against us.

I tried to tell em that the other day, but they'll see it start next year. Strong is making some serious moves. He's only got one of his classes in (2015), but already got the problems out of the coaching staff (oline coach, OC/QB). He also has a young running game and OL that he can rely on the next 2-3 years plus he recruited well there this year. He also loaded up on the defense, AGAIN this year. I mean WOW! That defensive haul is one of the top 5 best defensive hauls this year.

The guy has an Art Briles disciple at OC who coached under two Briles disciples and has already coached a QB to the NFL. They already have an early enrolle QB who is in the mold of a Colt McCoy and they have recruited as many WRs as anybody else over the last two years.

Charlie Strong's rebuild is very interesting to me. He has a legit chance to turn Texas into a powerhouse again. I really believe a lot of people vastly underrate him.

Well, if you're that enamored with Charlie Strong and what he's doing in Austin, then perhaps you should take your Charlie-Strong-Longhorn-lovin' arse and park it on their site and spread the love over there.
