They both stayed home and flipped at the last possible second. And didn't even tell the staff.

Strong was given a team with talent. He didn't have to rebuild.

Strong will succeed at UT if he's given time.
TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma are going to kick the shite out of UT this year. If you think LSU fans are irrational and impatient I invite you to meet any Texan ever.

Maybe Fowler just really likes to have his winters off since Texas won't be going to a bowl game

And who cares if Strong succeeds anyway. It's Texas. No love for them and I live here. If he told the kid not to say anything about signing with Texas in the weeks before when he knew he was going to (and I don't believe for minute Strong didn't know until the day of or the night before) then Strong can suck it. I get why a kid would stay and play 15 minutes from his house but he could have also notified LSU what his intentions were so that LSU might have been able to go after another possibly (in state recruit like LaFrance) before he signed with Arky or something like that. You never know what Miles could have pulled off.

A simple phone call a few days before signing day, and this is a total non-issue. Even if the staff just knew he had second thoughts, they likely would have put out plan b feelers. We needed more bodies at LB than we ended up with.

The crystal balls were 100% to Texas for a long time..I'm pretty sure the coaches might have knew something, unless the analyst know so much more than them..

You can't crystal ball a player to a school he's already committed to. So the fact that his CB's were 100% to Texas is irrelevant, he was committed to LSU since June.

Cushenberry let MSU know on Wednesday morning before signing with LSU. How is that much different than what Fowler did?

The one-time South Carolina commitment received an offer late Tuesday evening, after a calculated recruitment from LSU leading up to National Signing Day. The 6-3, 310-pound Dutchtown notified Mississippi State, the school he was intending on signing with Wednesday morning.

I agree, he didn't want the extra bowl practice. He wants his season the be over in November
