Mickey Johnson to LSU

I'm happy about this. I think he can be a good defensive lineman in a few years, but I think he can be a hell of a center on the offensive line.

Welcome Mr. Johnson.

To be honest I think Jernigan told them he was going to FSU and then LSU told MJ he could committ. I don't think they would have taken his commitment without knowing Jernigan isn't coming. I hope I am wrong and both end up at LSU. Personally I really like MJ. He is strong as hell.

Yes. He was a moron before Mickey Johnson and he will continue to be a moron after Mickey Johnson.

Those in-state kids just love LSU. They'd go there, if they had an offer, no matter who the coach was. I don't care if Pat Summit was their coach, they'd go to LSU.

Les Miles is a fricking idiot moron who has the luxury of an unbelievable recruiting base at his disposal.

Yeah, I wonder how many 11 win seasons Arky has since 2005. Les has four of six 11 win seasons Arky fan. DEAL WITH IT!
And, our coach isn't a piece of crap, who lacks character, loyalty, etc..

How the hell can anyone know this? Someone said he is older, so at most he is 19. What player in the NFL maxed out at 19? Even if he is maxed out strength wise, he's a champion powerlifter. Teach him some technique and he can use his strenght to plug the middle and rarely get pushed off the ball. If he puts in some work, he will be a great run stuffing DT. We can do that substituting thing when we get in passing situations. Welcome aboard MJ

Wow, reading the posts over at Tigerdroppings. Most of the people over there don't want MJ. What a POS of a program.

Based on this thread, they are right.

Welcome aboard MJ.

Mickey reminds me a lot, actually, of Casey Hampton. Granted Pittsburgh plays a 3-4, but the comparison is legitimate. This kid could be a true run-stuffer, which is exactly what the doctor ordered against teams like Alabama.
