It shows you lsu rivals guys have no clue they have been saying all week that they don't have room for him. When Otis has been saying no way they don't have room

That confirms to me that it's common knowledge how much Scarborough sucks.

Why would he commit to a school if they didn't want him

Its happened before. Kids dont always know exactly where they stand with a coaching staff.

It has happens a lot. A kid commits to a school that he doesn't exactly have an offer from

It was my first reaction

But I have just received word that they did take his commitment.

But wouldn't you talk to the coach and say, "Hey coach, I am committing to you and gonna announce today." At that point the coach would tell him if he was not going to take him. So this wouldn't make sense to say I am going somewhere that the coaches don't want him.

Who are you calling? Maybe they are tired of you hitting them up for inside info on recruiting.

In defense of Scike, no one saw this Coming. Not Derek, not Shea.

I am glad Mickey committed. I see him getting moved to center. He is the final piece to this beastly O-Line class.

Dorsey had a freak first step that made him the player he was/is. Mickey doesn't have that. I see him more as a slightly stronger / half-step slower Marlon Favorite. Like I've said before, I do think he can be a contributor at DT. I just also think he's got All-SEC potential at center.
I don't like MJ coming to LSU. I accept it but I would have liked for things to go another way. I was referring to your stature comment.

Some commit to position coaches and not the head coach. Only the head man truly knows.

Never understood why these guys want to play games when they aren't in the dominant position.

bear with me for a second....

what if... by some crazy chance, we miss on jernigan and extend a true offer to MJ around lunchtime on wednesday. MJ switches to LSU.

Now what would people say? I tihnk they would say he's a great option, as strong as he is, to clog up some blockers in the future so AJ can wreak havok.

I think we get rasco, drew, and jernigan so tifwiw

i was super wrong about the drew rasco jernigan apparently lol

Wow, reading the posts over at Tigerdroppings. Most of the people over there don't want MJ. What a POS of a program.

All this grey shirt/playing center stuff is crazy.

you can never have to many d.t.'s. Mickey is good enough to beat one on one's. Having freak beside him drawing double teams will only make mickey a better d.t.

he is strong enough to hold his ground. i like the fact he his short. our best d.t's have been short. booger, dorsey, lavalais, henry thomas. they can win the battle of leverage.

i don't like the games he played. however, he's a kid, he has good grades, and he has talent. i'll take him.

Yes. He was a moron before Mickey Johnson and he will continue to be a moron after Mickey Johnson.

Those in-state kids just love LSU. They'd go there, if they had an offer, no matter who the coach was. I don't care if Pat Summit was their coach, they'd go to LSU.

Les Miles is a fricking idiot moron who has the luxury of an unbelievable recruiting base at his disposal.
